Installation:

2. OPTIONAL (custom placement on forum page)
Open desired template and put "$cybchatbox" to desired line.

This is a nice looking chat box. I have installed it, and was playing with it and wondered how to get back to the NON full screen when you have gone over to the full screen or the archives. I was just clicking the back arrow, but is there another way?

Is there a way to show who is in chat when you are in the small screen mode?

Are the ban and unban etc commands the same as what is used in IRC, or ?

There is no such feature in current version.

It may be implemented later.

How do you use the /me functionality?

Everytime I type in /me it just shows the '/me' text without doing anything.

Another improvement I'd like to see is more on the permissions side. I'd like to be able to set certain usergroups to only VIEW the chatroom and NOT be able to chat though. Is this possible CYB? I'd like to tie it into usergroups better

Some of my nonadmin users are able to remove messages from the chatbox. Any way how I can fix this?

Users are able to delete their own messages.

This can be disabled in hack options.

Impossible, unless you have some serious problem with permissions on your board, or someone have access to your database.

Only Admins and Mods are able to delete all messages.

Ah Ok I see. The User who edited the shouts was moderator on one board. Is it possible to only allow Global Moderators and Admins in my case to edit shouts? Or simply only Admins.

-Fixed bug where you need to refresh page after "Busy" message to continue chatting

when i use /me , it shows like this > admin : * admin ...message....

i dont c any good point on it when it shows admin name again !

Thanks for implementing my request. I really like it that you can simply put in numbers for usergroup permissions as some hacks require the admin to change every usergroup individually.

Could you make the VB replacement variables integrateable into this shoutbox?

Nice work...just one comment...you should try to incorporate the following into this mod: https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=65394

That hack would actually fit in nicely with your mod...instead of a user having to load all the smilies at one time, they can select by category.

This would save a lot of time for those using dial-up...just trying to be considerate. It would also make the use of smilies just a little bit more user friendly.

I hope to hear back from you soon on this one...

I love this hack and currently have it installed...
