How do I specify who the emails are sent too?

I can't see the settings anywhere?!

I paid for the full version and have submitted several tickets addressing my problem and get no response. This thread says support only for the free version, but since no one is responding to my needs on the pay site - I'm posting this here.

I want the HTML editor, I tried to add the code several times and each time I get an error trying to open the admin control panel. Yes, I reloaded.. it doesnt help. Yes, I tried the change several times and no, it didn't help.

I also cannot "Add Newsletter." When I click Add Newsletter, it says "Send Every" must be greater than 0. No matter what number I choose from the dropdown list, it always says that error and won't allow me to add newsletter.

Wow, if this works, you just made my life SOOO MUCH easier..Thank you so MUCH. Installing now.


EDIT: I guess I should have read the entire thread..I was just so excited to see what i've been needing for years. :(

I cant see where you choose which usergroups to send mail to. am I being think? but there doesnt appear to be any controls for this.

vBMailer is not working 4 me. I keep getting LICENSE NOT FOUND and support dit not really put an effort into helping me. First few amils got replied, but now.......no response anymore.

I really need this application, but no luck.

If anyone else got this error and fixed it please email me.

Someone finally answered me about blogtorank.

On Oct. 3, I spoke with him and he said every Oct is his vacation month. I didn't realize that until I went to view the history of the chat with him.

I just got work today that he's now on medical leave...I really don't know what to think. I don't want to jump to conclusion and make a fool of myself, but I just wanted to post this for everyone to view.

Guess I should have read the full-thread too. In about four hours, they responded to sending me a license code for the full version, but its buggy and while it appears "full featured" is actually very limited and put together weird.

And Get a Blank Page when I go to VbMailer In the AdminCP
I looked iin the manual and saw there was some manual adjusting to do in the vbmailer_config.php but I am a noob when it comes to mail settings
If possible could someone point me in the right direction I would really like to get this working so i could try it out and see if I would like to buy the full version

I just got the full version install thanks for a nice addon at fair prices.
but I wish there was a Diagnostics option to test if working 100% that way I would know if need to change some settings and also Stats panel.

i bought and they got me my copy within 1/2 hour. It was just like everyone says, buggy. i fixed the prob with the charts, and the prob with the license, but it seems that the settings panel doesn't have an option for the smtp host, so you can't set the proper settings to even send the mail out. i can't find where to edit the config file directly, this sucks so bad.

this is so stupid because the could have been a really popular mod with tons of publicity and instead they ruined it. i put a ticket in to support about 6 hours ago. i will keep you updated. i really hope the developer comes back because this hack was sounding sofa king awesome

I wouldn't ask anyone to ever order anything from this company. I opened a ticket on my webhosting account with them, and without any replies whatsoever, it was just deleted.

I too was looking for a "newsletter" mod and thought this might do the trick until I started reading about the coding and support, or lack thereof. So I continued my quest and stumbled upon a great piece of software. The downside is that if you are on a budget this will not work for you.

Don't even worry about updating... I personally think that blogtorank just scammed everyone. I'll be putting in my claims in paypal this week.

Oook! I'll tell you... I bought the full version (QHVBMailer), uploaded the files, licence file too and I wasnt able to save templates, emails, nothing at all! I only was able to manage attached files.

I asked the "developers" for support (sending the every pretty well detailed photos, etc...) but they only deleted my tickets. I think this is not the best way to honest.

Hope this post solves your doubts about buy it or not.

First off, I was not planning to purchase, just try it out to send my members forum info.

When I try to send an email(s) it shows the date in queue being the year 2000 and nothing sent. :down:

Reading just a few posts in this thread convinced me not to waste any more time with this. My hosting provider has all this in they're admin panel anyways.

isit possible to email the email addresses aswell as the registered users as it saves us doing 2 jobs when it could be done in 1 lot

I hate when people use pdf's when they dont have to. I wanted to do the code edits, but how I am supposed to copy and paste the code from a pdf? Especially considering the pdf is encrypted. A simple notepad or wordpad file with the full instructions would've be great. I am far too lazy to hand type these edits.
