Here is my slightly modified version of 1.0.4:

Includes entry for RSS-format of YouTube URLs. (youtube.com/?v=XXXXXX as opposed to youtube.com/watch?v=XXXXXX as given on the site)

Also includes update of embedded video size for YouTube, as they have updated their video controls and their videos are now a different default size. No more ugly white bars on the sides if you use this.

Just install product as you normally would. (With overwrite option enabled to upgrade.)

Myspace videos do not work. I don't just mean myspacetv domain links (which aren't included in this mod).

I have updated it with another plugin for boomp3.com (sorry, still no working myspace videos.)

Overwrite my old one with this one to add boomp3.com support.

Fix for Myspace videos
New Myspacetv.com link support
Boomp3.com support
Support for YouTube URLs as given by RSS (?v=XXXXXX format [no "watch" in URL])
Updated object size for YouTube videos as they have changed their video control sizes
Rewritten internal product description for spelling and clarification

If you grabbed one of my previous versions, overwrite with this one.

To install: Import product as usual. To upgrade: The same with Overwrite enabled.

Running 3.6.8 ... installed and it ran flawlessly from the start. I love mods like this :)

hopefully tonight ill be able to release 1.0.5 which includes the option to turn on/off specific sites via checkbox settings. And will also be adding some shady sites :P

well i quickly made 1.0.5 and didnt have much time to add sites so 1.0.5 is the same as 1.0.4 but with this nice ACP feature:

I installed this yesterday and I am getting this error message in Admin CP. It is working for Youtube and Yahoo but nothing else. It is not giving me that site selector likte you posted.

im pretty sure thats because you haven't uploaded the bitfield XML file, its inside the zip

I found the bitfield xml but it still won't let me upload it. Getting VB message:

I tried both products and plugins, same response.

you see the directory structure the XML bitfield file is in? includes/xml/ you need to place it there via FTP. The product XML you actually import VIA the ACP, but bitfield XML's just need to be placed in the correct directory.

I thought that everyone already knew this, but you should of guessed because i placed that file in the correct directory structure.

did a quick search about maybe adding break.com but didnt see any replied about it....any chance that one would be getting added to this? btw, great mod! just added and it works flawlessly!

one request though.. as i use a lightbox to view some images in posts.. some videos are overlaying the background of the lightbox. this is normal as flash allways gets the top z-index.. unless not specified differently..

the best workaround is.. to add for "<embed links " ALLWAYS a wmode="transparent" AND for <object ... links a <param name="wmode" value="transparent">
youtube does it by default.. but others like google dont..

by adding it in the replacements for those that dont have it.. it makes it more compatible for other hacks AND i have the feeling it loads smoother.. (but id does NOT change any functionallity)

Possibly a silly question, but will this work with 3.6.4?

I have someone working on my site, and I tried to have them install AnyMedia, but they are telling me it won't work with my version of vBulletin. I can't upgrade right now, because apparently the custom skin they made me will not work if I upgrade...

cant add break.com its impossible to do it without it being a +++++.

When I add a Veoh or MySpace link it brings up a Google video player and nothing plays.

Youtube works great, and Google works if you find the right link. It took me 20 minutes of playing to find a google video link that worked right

I can't try them all to see if the rest work, these are the ones I needed and thus tested.

Any specific areas I need to snoop in to see what is wrong?

(Oh BTW, your logo is terribly distracting when I try to work. :) )

We are running a video submission contest and your code is a huge help to us for users to show off their submissions quickly and easily.

Do you have a ETA on the fix or at least the needed repairs? As usual, time is critical and all the instructions we gave pointed out most video sites will work.
Unfortunately everytime somebody submits a link that doesn't work a kitten dies.

Ok well the 1st link works for me or at least my version the 2nd link is flawed and is a users page not a video page... the 3rd link was a issue on my part, i works now and will be added to 1.0.6 as well as Xtube, Vidmax, Redtube, Pornotube
you dont actually install the bitfield XML you just place it in the XML directory.

Weird...so I go back to my forum after seeing to work fine on yours and try it again. Bear in mind I added the link to my forum, tried it, found it didn't work then pasted the same link to this forum for you.
Now Veoh works.

That was the main one I was concerned with. The others are fluff. Thanks for looking into it. I should have posted on Scriptasy first before asking.
