heh we are doing alot more then just a smilie button for the pro edition and its up to you what you choose to do but we make sure that all of the code we release is as optimised as possible.

I duno if this bug was posted but -
When someone edits a post or Moderators editings posts, it makes a new shout in Shoutbox sayin a new reply was made.

Looks like I have to wait around 72 hrs, before the pro version is out.. :D

btw.. I think there should be a limit feature. Where the admin can set a post limit, before anyone can post in the shoutbox.. otherwise.. people tend to post more in the SB than on the actual forum...

Another feature suggestion for the pro version if it includes an archive would be to rel=nofollow on all links from it to lessen people's interest in spamming...

Quick question:

Where does this mod pull those fonts from? As in, what directory is it pulling the actual font files from?

He's already said (several times) that the smilies will be added into the Pro version. But no, he has NOT given an exact date on the release of PRO. Based on the wordage (is that even a real word?) from previous posts, most of us are lead to believe it will be available as early as this week.

Well it was supposed to come out today, Zero said. However, I checked and it's not out yet. He said Sunday would be the latest, and well Sunday is 2 hrs from being over.

It is basically finished now, we're just setting up some back end stuff on the IT website to help with giving customers with certain other products discounts :)

I guess my question then would be, are those font files contained on the database side? Because I don't see a directory containing them anywhere in the forum directories. Please excuse my ignorance on the subject.

The fonts are located at your computer not on the server.

Ah, so you can name whatever fonts you want in the .php file, so long as people have them, they'll have access to them. I figured there'd be a set number of the fonts included to insure everyone had access to the same ones, regardless what browser they were running.

I would be cool if the Archive had autonomy from the shoutbox. That is, if sb gets pruned, only posts displayed in the shoutbox dissapear, but the older conversations could still be accessed in the Archive. Maybe for admins only, or permissions per usergroup.

With the visitors that i get to my site, theres no way it has something to do with my server load. Plus, if it works for one browser (firefox) and not for the other (IE). it can't be the server. And the shoutbox 2.1 works fine, but this one does not. Any help?

wait for the pro and try that one out.. if it doesn't work, I'm sure they can give you a refund.. otherwise.. I have no idea I'm not a coder.

From what Ive seen here I will probably buy the pro version as long as it has these two features.

- Limit to the number of smilies per shout (You any idea how much a forum bogs down when some retard outs 1000 smilies each shout for 5 shouts in a row.... :( )

- Uses vBs Swear/ Language filter.

Right pro has been released on GZE we need to upload the files on the inferno technologies website and then it is available to the public to buy.
@billspaintball, it was too late to put those features in this version but the next version of pro will have them
