True, but what if another person wants to be part of the usergroup that isnt an admin? Do I have to add them or what?

vbay does not handle the usergroups, i left that for administrators to decide, maybe try letting people request membership?

I am seriously interested in this, Blaine. Heck, I'd donate if there were a stable version. I was thinking about using phpAuction for my site, but since this is just another mod for vBulletin it's much more attractive. One less peice of software I have to install and worry about how it works!

Well currently it works, all except for the private messages, so basicly users have no way of knowing when or weather their auctions have been concluded, or when they have won anothers auction.

I can't seem to add anyone to have the ability to add auctions. I keep getting this message:

I have added sellers as a joinable user group, and added myself. But I keep getting the message.

I change the field that says:
from "0" to "sellers" but it keeps reverting to '0'.

Any help is appreciated.

This is a cool mod, looking forward to the full release. Would it also be possible to have the option to charge for listings which can be enabled or disabled in the admin panel.

I suppose you could charge for premium forum membership and only allow premium or 'pro' members to post in the auctions

the crons handle both pms and the closing of auctions, and they SHOULD be working correctly :)
