I uninstalled and re-installed and the database was set up correctly this time.
Good! :)

Now I notice that the Youtube and the Google ".gif" images do not work because this installer will not make any allowances for the ACTUAL path that your forum is installed into.
Bad :(

Nice first try Adult CEO, but this add-on has some more coding to be done.

Fix that (seemingly minor) issue, let's write some more clearer instructions, and then we can find out why the firt time the installer is run it fails but suceeds on the second try.

Thanks for answering my questions (the install folder must be placed into the root of your vBulletin installation) and I wish you luck in the future.

:)

hi
very nice mode but i dont how can i make video.html and show to first page
thanks

Desworks 11-26-2006 08:49 PM

I just can't get the mod rewrite to work. The forum is located in the /test/ directory. And whatever I try the video index page won't show up on videos.html.

And the mod doesn't load the videos on the main page and the video index page. It just shows a black frame for google video and an empty space for youtube videos.

The new version of Any Media will be called Any Media 3.6.x and will be official linked to from Any Media 3.5.x.

I don't know yet if it will remain the same and if all features of the old version will remain and what new features will be added but I will try to make it as perfect, stable, optimum and fast as possible.

The mod will be free but will require an icon/link on the video display wich can be removed by paying a small fee.

This is great to hear! I just read through this thread and I think I'll just wait for this release.

eta: Love your site, but sure do wish it was in English. :p

littletrouble 11-28-2006 10:16 AM

my images are referencing to the root/images/editor/google.gif / youtube.gif

I thought it used the .htaccess to determine the forum root (i.e. pointing to domain.com/forum instead of just domain.com) but that doesn't seem to help.

anyone offer suggestions?

However, I am still having problem with Google Video post. I kept getting this error:

The mod has cURL support from the beginning! You can enable it from the adminpanel.

cURL will also ensure that the user doesn't have to wait for minutes when a videohost is down since you can specify the connection timeout and it will also ensure that the videohosts don't ban you as fast as they may when they detect your server being accessing the videos as cURL will simulate a real user!

I tray to active cURL and no work for me and recive this error message:

How can I make the icons show up for just for special forums?

da420 11-30-2006 06:51 AM

Works fine;

Except, whenever you try and put more than one or a few videos in the same post it labels most/sometimes all of them with the same name instead of the appropriate name of the video.

Any help getting this fixed is appreciated.

/me installs.

furst 11-30-2006 06:54 AM

Yes, I pointed this out to da420. I am having the same problem. I posted 10 videos (youtube) in the first post of the thread, and the first two had the correct names, while the other 8 videos were all using the same title as the first video.

AHMUDEM 11-30-2006 09:27 AM

thanks 3.6.4 work. :)

donnie_ogm 11-30-2006 03:21 PM

  1. In video bar i see only title and no video
  2. Video index page doesn't exsist

I read that other people have this problem but I can't understand how to fix them (if is possible).

If you disable or remove the product and uninstall the SEO Videos fields from the Database it will be fully uninstalled. There are no other changes.

For me the inline editor works fine btw, so the bug might be due to a difrent mod.

Best Regards,
Jan Jaap

I am installing it again. Do i need to run the database intaller again.

No i have not deleted the seo video tables from the database.

Let me know.

Plus, is it just me or the <!-- SEO Videos Index Bar --> is not working anymore?

Thanks!

Adult_SEO nothing for this problem?
May the problem is the .htaccess file?

Loads of people are having this problem, can someone please give an answer to sort it out. I also can get video in threads, but the video.html just turns up nothing. To the best of my knowledge I've got the htaccess set up correctly.

Hi!

The Video bar will also be implemented in Any Media 4 SEO edition. This mod will have the same functionality + a lot more!

Jan Jaap

[high]* da420 installs.[/high]

Another thing I found with this installed. When I try and access my site, some of my members don't put the www. in front of the url. It has always worked before. Now when I type http://mysite.com instead of http://www.mysite.com it will give a page not found error. When I take the .htaccess edits out of the file it works just fine.

So basically with this installed;

http://mysite.com/forum - does not work
http://www.mysite.com/forum - does work

Without this installed (htaccess edits taken out);

http://mysite.com - does work
http://www.mysite.com -does work

Any suggestions on a way for this to get to work?

Will this work with BrightCove videos?

pcoskat 12-13-2006 12:17 PM

Has anyone had problems with YouTube videos showing at BLANK in the display on Forum Home? Google videos show up fine, but YouTube ones show blank.

ETA
This problem has been fixed.

SirTalksalot 12-13-2006 12:51 PM

BUG,

The icons which call us the Youtube and Google BB Code, only work if you've used 'Reply' button, if you use quote or anything else, the buttons don't show up.

Is this mod going to be updated and fixed any time soon? I want to know whethere to discontinue using it or not. If a donation would help, let us know as I'd really like to see this potentially great mod in working order.

pcoskat 12-14-2006 04:30 PM

vb.org member/coder, Tnguy3n, installed this for me yesterday! Love it!

Would it be possible for 'sticky' posts with videos to always appear on forum home?

FleaBag 12-17-2006 12:15 AM

Hi Jan, any news on the new version of Media Player?

SirTalksalot 12-28-2006 08:25 PM

This shouldn't be in the completed mods section, as it's clearly not working properly, and it looks like it will never be working properly.

thegodfather2 12-28-2006 09:32 PM

hi,
i installed everything and i do not see any option for you tube, no links, no ability to really do anything. In admin I can see it under vb options... but on front end i do not see anything

I have installed some mods, vbadvanced, vbpals, vbphotovote and they all work good. But I have no idea whats up with this mod

I am using 3.6.4

see here humpmedumpme.com

anyhelp would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!

manica 12-30-2006 02:31 PM

I have installed the mod. I tested with a video, and now i have an DB error.
When i will delete the Video there comes

Datenbankfehler in vBulletin 3.6.2:

Invalid SQL:
DELETE FROM `vb_seovideos` WHERE `post_id`='130196';

MySQL-Fehler : Table 'vbulletin.vb_seovideos' doesn't exist
Fehler-Nr. : 1146
Datum : Saturday, December 30th 2006 @ 05:29:27 PM

I have look in the db but there are no vb_seovideo table.
