Thank you.

Any idea why the Resolutions only comes up with 1024x768 on one of my sites.....seems ok on the others.
It is also reporting i have 40 mods :surprised:

Perhaps you do have 40 mods? It counts the number of unique users added as moderators to at least one forum.

Looks like there is a flag missing:

It's true, the flag database is not complete. If you find the flag, you are more than welcome to contribute to the creator of the database: http://www.phptutorial.info/iptocountry/the_script.html...

What does it show on showgroups.php? What about the admincp show all moderators page?

AzH 11-26-2006 03:16 PM

I have an issue with the stats and I'm interested to see if anyone has a solution. The option for Style Usage does not update based on the style switcher drop down box on the forum. The only way to get the data updated is to switch the style being used via the User CP. I currently have three options open to me.

* Leave it as it is
* Remove the style usage option from the stats page
* Remove the drop down box on the forums and force people to change via UserCP

Ideally I'd like a fourth option which is some kind of update to fix this minor flaw.

You can see what I am talking about here: http://azhforum.co.uk/psistats.php?do=styles

Any suggestions?

Great hack, by the way. :D

The reason it is not updated is because when user chooses a style using the switcher, it is not saved to his or her account. It is only stored in his or her cookie. The only way to fix this would be to have vBulletin save the style to database, but I am not sure that alterting vBulletin's behavior is the best way to go in this case.

If you want, remove the quick chooser by editing the footer template.

Good call...........even though i had removed some mods they still seemed to be there in the Show All.......also it was counting a admin or 2

Thanks

Yeah, I kinda figured out the reason for it, I was just hoping for a fix. Thanks anyway. :classic:

I don't think that is the best way to go. I guess I'll just remove the Style statistics option from psi-stats.

Vossi 11-26-2006 08:44 PM

Anthony, the error ist fixed for me now, thanks for your work.

But there's just one problem left, which has been written down already: The amount of mods and admins doesn't fit to my system-configuration. I got 7 mods (and nobody else has mod-statusfor sure), but the stats tell me that I have 38 mods in my system. :o

Are any of these mods added to more than one forum?
What does it show on the admincp "Show All Moderators" page?

Yep, one mod has more forums to moderate.

Sorry, there are a lot of posts in this thread and some do get forgotten about. Maybe I should create a section for this hack in the visionscripts bugtracker. :)

Anthony, I'm sorry! I was still using the older version and forgot to transfer the latest version of psistats.php into the root-directory.

It works fine now, thanks for your time and knowledge you spent into this product!

Perhaps you may want to click the install button then? :)

Now I just got a email for a upgrade of this mod!

If I'm not having any probs is there any hurry to upgrade?

Any new features or just big fixes?

thx

Bugfixes, but the upgrade is very easy. To see what's changed, see the changelog in the first post.
To upgrade, overwrite product xml and then revert the psistats template if you have modified them. Then re-upload psistats.php. Temlate modifications do not need to be reapplied.

Are there any sorts of statistics that should be added to this hack? How come there are no feature suggestions? Ever?..

GNDI 12-01-2006 11:14 AM

I'll think it because you have thought of all most it all from the beginning :)

akanevsky 12-01-2006 11:34 AM

That's not true though - I can right now thing of a couple of things that can be added to this hack. However, for some strange reason, nobody is requesting anything.

And if what you are saying is true - how come this hack never got a MOTM?

akanevsky 12-01-2006 11:40 AM

Please vote for psistats MOTM!

Registration Statistics, User Activity Statistics, New Thread Statistics, New Post Statistics for a given month will be welcomed ... ;)

The competition is tough, just keep supporting and expanding this great add on and it will get it sooner or later .. ;)

akanevsky 12-02-2006 01:07 PM

I created a forum for suggestions here:
http://visionscripts.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=80

And a bug tracking project here:
http://visionscripts.com/forum/bugtr...r_projectid=11

Please post your feature request in that forum.
Once again, this modification is not going to be commercial, it's just that this is a large modification and it's going to be easier to keep track of features and bugs if there is a separate place for it. :)

furst 12-02-2006 08:30 PM

Good work here, very nice hack.

Any chance of getting the ability to create a feed out of the site referrers? I want to be able to place a list of top referring sites on other pages, like forum home.

What type of feed would you want to create? And in what format?

To put it in simplest terms, what I'm asking for is an external.php for the referring sites page in psistats.

I suppose it could easily be done with javascript and rss. Javascript would probably be easier to add to a page than rss would be.

I would like it if I could choose how many items the feed would have. Would be nice if I could also manipulate the format a bit. For instance, in some cases I may want to have one long column with all the site referrers, but at other times I may want to display it a little bit differently, maybe showing two columns containing an ordered list of all the referring sites.

All this combined would basically be creating something which I could use to trade traffic, just like a toplist. It seems like psistats is only steps away from having this functionality.

jw00dy 12-03-2006 08:58 AM

Very minor typo.

In the PSI ACP, you have the date format for the date of forum creation as dd/mm/yyyy format, however it appears to be mm/dd/yyyy as the other way doesn't work.

So you would prefer a javascript or and xml feed, right? Because RSS feed is for RSS newsfeeds, not for traffic trade.
