update --- It appears to be the complimentary hack to this one for most ever users that was the real culprit.
I had totally forgotten this was a separate hack and when I updated the "users in the last 24 hours" and "posters in the last 24 hours" hacks, I didn't update the "most ever" hack. This caused the 12/31/1969 date to appear and only show 1 user. Totally my mistake but maybe someone that did the same thing will benefit from this. |
Yes, you cannot run the 3.5 version of that mod on 3.6.
I think i'll just remind everyone who still has it installed. |
1- Is it possible your add-on identify and submit search engine spiders as visitors?
2- where and which codes should I change if I want to edit template manually? is there any way to find out it (also for other add-ons)? |

2. If I understand your second question then you can edit the template 'Display_Visitors' without changing any code.. |

Where can I find this add-on on my host after uploading? I want to edit it on server so I need to find & edit it there. Is there any certain upload folder for add-ons? |

All you have to import a product.. You don't have to upload any files.. After importing the product via product manager you can also edit the product via product manager.. You can also edit the all plugins under this product via plugin manager.. Or if you asking for change shettings then try AdminCP > vBulletin Options > Who Has Visited Today option.. BTW what do you wanna change in this hack?.. |

Works great on 3.6.3.
Clicks installed! |
Just installed the new update...however:
Total members that have visited the forum today: %1$s 19 ??? |
^Where do you see that? on Forum Home? What version are you using...
/me updates |
Yup on forumhome..I just updated to the latest version (4.36) not more than 30 minutes ago. I had an older verison which worked fine.
|
I fixed the problem.
Varname: $vbphrase[visited_today] Text: Total members that have visited the forum today: {1} I removed the {1} and now it works fine. |
Wouldn't that take the number away from it?..

could you tell me it's location so I can do the same? |
Paul,
Nice Job as usual. I installed it today on my live site in a few seconds and had no problems. I never really relized how many members visited the site in one day. I usually see 45-50 members online during the weekdays and 10-15 during the weekends at one time, I was kinda shocked to see over 380 members online since midnight, and its only sunday haha, I am really going to be shocked when everyone gets to work on monday. Thanks Again for a great Job Delw |

Quick question, I didn't see a "most members online ever was 'x' " option. Is this separate or n/a? Sorry if this ? is a repeated one. TIA |

Is there a way to display this mod in place of displaying currently active users? I would like to only display one and not both. TIA.

Hi Paul M,
I had your 4.35 version with Tom M's vBa CPMS module working perfectly (http://www.vbadvanced.com/forum/show...=visited+today) However, I then deleted Tom's module and updated your's to 4.36, but now the number of members who visited does not show with the rolling 24 hours option (the correct number of names do get displayed however). Any idea what it could be? I've overwrite, uninstall and reinstall but still no luck. Thanks in advance and keep up the great work! |
Thanks for the update Paul :)

The way the count is displayed has changed in 4.36, it's built into a single phrased variable now ($whotitle) instead of being displayed separately as a phrase and count (using $whodesc/$ftotaltoday) - so you (or Tom) probably need to update any template that the CMPS module uses. |
Thank you for the reply Paul,
Actually I deleted the vBa CPMS mod, but I guess there must be some stuborn code that did not get removed. I'll mess around with it somemore I guess. Again, thank you for the reply and keep up the great work! edit: Uninstalled 4.36 and reinstalled 4.32 and all works like a charm again. Thanks again. |
Clicked installed and thanks for this mod
|
I am having a problem with this after updating to the latest version.
It displays all that visited but the number is not being displayed. Refer to attached picture. |
Have a read of post #233.
You are either using a customised template, or customised phrase, whichever it is will need to be reverted/re-edited. |
Thanks this was an easy feature to install and exactly what i was looking for, love it!
