Ah ok ! It's the former version of vBadvanced Gallery. Well, if it's working with you and not with Apoco, there is a problem ;) Apoco just send me a pm with the URL of the problem. I will have a look.

Apoco 08-18-2006 01:35 PM

It works with Photopost Gallery, just not Photopost Classifieds. They are different products. I'll pm you the link in a few moments.

Hi i got a Question about your amazing vBProduct. By the way... Great work.

I've installed the AdvancedHighlightning Product (link) I've installed your Hack it works pretty fine. But it seems it wouldnt work with this Highlightning-Hack. Can you tell me what i have to do for getting your Manager working with this other Hack? Thanks for any Hints

Gastongr 08-19-2006 06:47 AM

This hack is compatible with Highlightning-Hack. Nevertheless Highlightning-Hack uses its own template. So it's normal if the display isn't the same. I've tried to unify both, but the result is not good : there is a scrollbar not very pretty.

Edit : Well the problem with the scrollbar is a bug with all bbcode / So i'll have to correct it. And i will give you the way to unify AdvancedHighlightning Product with this one.

Edit 2 : well i've discover another display problem with IE... i'm sure i had corrected before. I don't understand. I'll make a new released soon.

Edit 3 : well the bug is not a bug :D Now i undersand why vB wants the "Code Block Width" to be in pixels ;) Otherwise there are too numerous problems. So forget my advice to put a value in %. It must be in pixels. In 800x600 there is a display problem, but it's the same thing with vb default templates. So i guess we can't do anything.

cclaerhout 08-19-2006 11:42 AM

-19/08/2006 : version 1.32 released. New option available : integration of Advanced Syntax Highlighting is now possible. Please note that "Code Block Width" must be in pixels (see "important" paragraphe)

P.S : i still have to find a mac to check some problems with Safari.

Barteken 08-20-2006 10:25 AM

I have some issues with IE 7 when scrolling through the page the new quote is messed up. i use the dark bbcode set. When filling up the screen with a new window (just open a new window above the explorer) everything is fine again...
see screenshot

No problem, but if you can share your work, it would be nice. Send me an email, i will see if the look is enough original to be integrated ;)

Avalon111 08-23-2006 10:26 AM

i am using vb3.6.0

i have kust uninstalled this modification because the use of [code] is totaly breaking the layout. its width is waaaaaaaaaaay to large

cant be changed manually?
vb devault template for [code] works properly and doesnot break the layout of the page.

EDIT:
okay i have altered the value from % to px in this line

Code:

<td style="background-image: url($vboptions[bburl]/images/bbcodemanager/simple/11.$bbcode_image_extension);background-repeat:repeat-x;width:730px;height:24px;" ></td>
but how do i get rid of this empty space at the end of [php] [code] [html] ??

I'm going to check this.

Edit : html problems found ; it needs a fix.

About the empty space i'm not sure to be able to fix it. If i do... the display with IE won't be good.

i installed vb3.6 + your modification in one run.

i had the "Link to Profile" enabled. thought thats why the user id is displayed now.

i am realy sorry :)

after i have done the px correction for [code] this modification runs very fine now.

GREAT WORK :)

bullzeye 08-23-2006 03:07 PM

cclaerhout: this it what it looks like ;)

I think there is a problem qouting posts using your hack :D

cclaerhout 08-24-2006 11:58 AM

Well i tested it and i didn't find any problem neither with Mozilla, nor with IE 6.

On a post above i said that i found a bug... well it isn't the case. The width must be in pixels.

bullzeye 08-24-2006 03:40 PM

Have you tried to Quote somebody using the WYSIWYG-Editor? My Pal tells me this Problem will come up by using WYSIWYG-Editor and FireFox! Opera works well.

bullzeye 08-24-2006 04:06 PM

Got another Question :D Is it possible to do something to collapse quotes codes etc?

chkdgate 08-25-2006 08:04 AM

cclaerhout, this is exactly what I was looking for. Awesome mod. The only problem is and I'm sorry if it sounds dumb but how do I change the colors within each category? Also, is there a way for quotes to dispaly normal text instead of italics?

I've tried with FF 1.5.0.6 and i'm sorry to tell you that this hack is working ;)

Well i don't see what would be the advantage. Users are not going to play to collaspe each code bbodes. That's not very usefull.

What do you mean with "change the colors" ? You just have to configure the BBCODE sets according to the style ID.

Yes there is always a a way ;) I'm going to work on it to avoid you to edit templates. But i will be out next days. So this mod won't be released quickly.

kabadayi 08-25-2006 12:20 PM

wonderfull thanksssssssss

Nachtfalke 08-25-2006 03:33 PM

Really nice addon. I'll definitive try that out. But do you think it is possible to add some new styles with darker backgrounds? I like the look of the 3d quotebox, but I have a very dark boardstyle and that would be a shock fo my users. Maybe you could include a sliced Photoshop or Fireworks Source in the zip, so I would change the pictures for the existing styles myself.

Merci beaucoup pour ta travaille!

bullzeye 08-25-2006 04:15 PM

I'd like to show collapsed code by default so users which will read a thread could read the exact problem without looking at the code which will be postet. So they can concentrate more efficent for solving a problem. When they've read the Thread they can expand the code. This was a whish of one our members ;)
I've made a little collapseable tabel using vB-Code <tfoot> und <tbody> it works fine but maybe you could do something better than me ;) I'am not a skilled vB-Coder. Doesn't matter if you wouldn't do this I'll try my best to integrate this into our Board. Thanks for all and excuse my bad english :(

Under vb options, BB code manager.

chkdgate 08-25-2006 06:43 PM

I know but I'm trying to use the brighter blue in the "dark" palette category.

You can't... except if you invert the template code.

chkdgate 08-26-2006 05:58 AM

Everything's fine with Firefox 1.5 but for my IE users I'm getting this. Btw, this is pre IE-7

I don't know which version of IE 7 your users have, but it seems to be quiete old. IE 7 has corrected the problem with the transparency of png. Tell them to upgrade their Beta to RC1. I can't do anything for them.

chkdgate 08-26-2006 06:44 AM

Believe me I know. I don't expect you to do anything also. It's not our fault their backed up. Btw, I'm running 3.5.4 and everything seems to be running fine so no problems there either.

Merci
