Question, What is the difference between "HSE Full View" and "HSE Unapproved View" and can different settings for a map be set for each? For instance I would like for Admins/Moderators to see the About vbgooglemap HSE but not visitors/members as there is an appeal for a donation there. Is the only way to eliminate that to make a donation towards a brand free version or can that link be a usergroup setting? Thanks!

I uploaded on another site I'm working the googlemap version for members, all went smooth, but like everyone else no marker will show except when I'm in "Your Entry" mode for editing. They do show on the legend, here's the link, but notice that it says O Current markers.

I want to finish this so I can finish my site, and I also want to add the hotspot version too--I'm even willing to pay the $$$ for the brand free option for both--if I can get some support here.

When I tried to load the hotspot edition, I got this error:

A conflict was detected in the bitfields. You cannot continue with the installation of this product until this has been fixed. The conflicts found were:
Bitfield Collision: canadminvbgooglemapme = canadminvbgooglemaphse

Which tells me you can't run both on the same site.

Like others, I just cannot get any markers to show up. CHMOD 777 has been done, perms are set as well.

All I get is an xml error "Cannot open XML File" not sure which xml file it is trying to open :(

User can add on map but when they selected a user from list no maps are displayed. I have VB 3.6.3 and vbgooglemap Member Edition 2006 V2.5.2

The Problem is ZEO. If Zeo activ the map is not visible.

I have a small problem with this mod.

I installed it last night on 3.6.4 and it works perfectly, but it seems to have broken the admin panels open close panel controls and I am now getting a javascript ajax error when I try to open any of the panels.

The error is:

Can anyone help fix this for me?

I'm sure this is directly related to this mod as everything was working perfectly before I added this to the forum. The vbgooglemaphse control panel is also the first one at the top of all the panels which could be why the controls on all of the panels isn't working if this is the cause of what is breaking it.

Please disregard the error I was getting in my last post. I cleared the cache and cookies from Firefox and the errors were gone, so it was just some old configuration settings being stored locally that was causing the problems.

So I'm now happy to say that this works perfectly with vB 3.6.4

As using Firefox, there are no ploblem,

but, when using IE, marks are not shown.

This is an amzing mod but I have a complete noob question. What I'd like to use it for is to mark the locations of restaurants, museums, parks, etc. in my area and that would work much better if the map and markers were address-based as opposed to lattitude/longitude. How difficult would it be to change the mod to work that way?

This mod is dead man and looks like the author had targeted xmas for an update of this mod and we are in Feb 07 and still nothing.. Geo zip would be a nice add though. Maybe someone other coder can just take over this mod since its dead anyways

Probably a silly question...Whats the difference Between Members edition and the hot spot edition?

I have members edition installed(Great mod by the way)

When a member adds a marker should it remove itself when they log out. or is it fixed- bit like a whose on line marker?

I have this mod installed and full working, then i have changed of server. all seems to work fine, but now the results for "show on map" of any marker p.e.:
