you repeating aint helping nothing specially when the coder is asleep after 60 hours of coding. so be patient he will be back and help out, but posting it over and over and over is not gonna make your problem get fixed faster

True, but if no one offered any advice after your first post, bumping it won't really help. In fact some go out of their way to not help people who bump their own posts.

I'm getting that error as well, but I have my arcade disabled until the coder wakes back up and can help or someone else happens upon a fix.

There are instructions on the v3arcade.com site. You will have to have the "source" to the game, and permission from the game author to edit it.

where on v3arcade site???? i cant seem to find it..

i have a few games with author permissions so that's why i would like to know how to edit these flash games for scoring...

oh ya, Ive been waiting for this release. V3 Rocks!

I am not to fond of what ibProArcade is doing regarding limitations of game downloads and forcing members to post ads to get in.

you need to wait a day or so for the admin to activate your account. he does it manually.

It seems like a common problem with the installation is that the database changes are being made. Any clue why? I have none of the database tables that were supposed to be added.

IBP Pro Arcade that is released here has nothing to do with the ibproarcade site, so it is unfair to make comparisons in that regard. There are many other places to get games other than on that site for IBP pro arcade.

A smooth upgrade. :)

A couple of observations after upgrading from the latest beta;

- I get no challenge link in the postbit dropdown in spite of enabling them in my profile. I don't see challenge setting in the admin settings either. (I wonder why that is. It seems some other people have it.)

- The download link has disappeared after the upgrade.

- There's a setting to make awards show in the postbit and profiles but nothing shows in profiles.

Oh, and is there any additional functionality added since the beta stage that we should know about?

Ehm, sorry to ask such a dumb question but I searched the whole thread and can't find the answer :o
I need to upgrade from the 3.0.x version.
The manual only writes about installation, not upgrade, and just mentions that there is an import script.
I tried running the import script but I got a db error (I don't know exactly what as the mail hasn't come yet).
What should I do and in what order?

I told my users that the arcade came out and they are almost party-ing :p

I'm getting the following error message on the 'Data Rebuilding' stage of the import script (i've deliberately taken out my IP address and username details from the message):

That is in laymen's terms, if you know flash. If you don't know flash, then you're out of luck. ;)

When you click their name in a post, it's on the dropdown, if they chose to allow themselves to be challenged. (In their User CP -> Arcade Options settings.)

it's on, but when i click their name in the post... it doesnt show it on the dropdown list.. do they have to be online to work???

No, but THEY have to choose to make themselves available for challenges, in THEIR User CP.

yeah, i made it in "postbit" not postbit_legacy... (whats the difference? or do i have to do both???)

It depends on which postbit you're using. If your user info is shown at the left, then you're using the legacy.
