All other extensions seem to work but when I try a flv file I get the player to show but no media will play.

I set in default for not autoplay, but some file types are still autoplay

Quick question............I am still getting the error that this media isn't supported.........could you look at this and tell me what is wrong? I am not sure why it isn't working. This is what is in the anymedia in my control panel;

i integrated 2 new features:

With the first feature you can set if the player will be collapsed or not, without setting, the script will use your admin setting.

With the second feature you can set a pretitle.

Look at the screenshot to see a examples and pls excuse me for my bad english :)

ex:
[MEDIA=width,height,autoplay,extension,collapsed, pre title]url_of_media_file[/media]

EDIT 07.03.2006: new xml file, now it works.

Okay I read through every post with no answer for my problem.

I installed this twice with no luck. I dont have the Permissions options in Vb Options to turn the bbcode on like this screen shot. Im running 3.5.1 if that matters.

Im with hotwheels after the new xml file still not working. I tried overwriting and then uninstalled and reinstalled. Same outcome - not working. :\

Ok..done. Then for the music files do I create a directory in forum_root for that to, or do members link to their own??

I upload a music file to FileCabin, and post it with Media tags like this

And I get a non-supported file error message....even though mp3 is listed as one of supported files.

did you set up the user rights again? works the basic script or nothing? you get an output?

hmm, in my testboard its working fine. at the weekend i have some time to control the file again if there are any mistakes or faults.

I am just getting a black screen with vsocial and youtube.

i dont have changed anything at the playing modules, only 2 variables in a template and 2 more rows in the php script.

the problem with the black screen is caused in another code...

i tested the files in my boards and it works fine, like it should be. i cant find any mistakes.

Well atleast you guys are getting a black screen. I cant even get the options to show up in the permissions, to turn the feature on and off it shows in the vb obtions.. but not in the usergroup persmisisons. Weird.

Is there anyway to remove the bar at the top? Like the thing i scribbled out in the attached image. It looks horrible if someone has many of them in one post and it's really unneeded.

yes its possible, open the template anymedia and search the accordingly code and remove it, or replace it with you favourite code.

That doesn't work as i been monkeying with that template, and believe it or not, i removed all the ccode in that template, and believe it or not the mod worked still! I looked up and that template is for vbadvanced!

by me it works without problems. you have to change already existed postings that the changes are getting works.

i tested it in my testboard and so it will shall work.

I am getting this problem. only pages with this video files are giving me slow page laods in my forum. its hapenning only when members trying to access it using Internet Explorer. when you click on the thread takes couple of minutes to load. at the bottom (Status Bar) it shows done but page shows only the back ground. Firefox is ok. anyone else facing the same problem??

Any suggestion?
