Did you follow every step from the installation-instructions for vB 3.5.x ?

@Xplorer4x4:
Yes, but all other 3.5.x-Hacks do not hae that "auto detection" included that makes the PHP-script work on vB 3.0.x and 3.5.x :)
So make sure your Templateversion is not 3.0.x to make the script notice that it is running on vB 3.5.x

Snake 11-26-2005 10:42 AM

Thank you thank you thank you! :D

I have been waiting for this moment. Yaaay.

Vizionz 11-26-2005 10:44 AM

well heres a hack of the month anyone got a demo account set up with there arcad running where i can see it

Xplorer4x4 11-26-2005 10:44 AM

Yes sir. Uploaded all of the files but your instructions sort of contradict each other, first you say:
Start off by uploading all the files needed.

THEN you say...

Make sure that there is no installer_de.php or installer_en.php in your forum's root directory, if so -> delete them !

So those files I did not upload. Other then that I uploaded the files and then imported the XML from my server. Then i changed the settings that you mentioned in the Admin CP.

I havent done the template mods yet but that shouldnt matter.

No - not on 3.5.

Mark.B 11-26-2005 10:57 AM

Huge thanks to MrZeroPage for all his hard work on this. I can now start the long slow process of preparing a test board ready for upgrade from 3.0.10 to 3.51.

I now have to wait for v3arcade to release their new copy so that I can start the tricky process of making both arcades run on the same forum....as I have done already on my 3.0.10 board.

Yes...I know there is no longer any reason to do this since I could run all the v3games on ibPro or vice versa...however, it's a nice technical challenge and an extremely rare set up!

I just had to say this hack kicks a$$. The zip and tar option is killer. And the user group permission in one page kills! Thanks again.

Yes. That's awesome. Let's donate some money to MrZeropage for his hard work.
I will do it.

the 'arcade.php' goes into your forum root folder and the 'skin_Arcade.php' goes into the forum/arcade/skins folder overwriting the existing ones (make sure you backup the existing ones first though)

Would you please PM me what code you replaced and where? I would be curious to see it. Zero had that fixed and working upon release. It works fine in my version already without adding any code.

I have CHModded all of the files/folders in Arcade - I am running 3.5 with VBSeo.

Help please ;)

Looks like VBSeo is touching the link before the game submits the score? Just guessing here as I don't know anything about VBSeo. ;)

I agree to that. Not only that, the new ibProArcade has many features that we never even expected to see them. So Zero, you have truly done a great job and proved to us what you are made of. ;)

give the man some credit!

This Hack was originally done for Invision Power Board (IPB) by Chris Kelly and later adapted to work within vBulletin 3.0.x but had no real integrated AdminCP and even some illegal licensed Files from IPB included, so it was removed from official vB-Sites.

ibProArcade 2.5.3+ comes along with a complete new AdminCP with even more options and improved functionality, has been bugfixed alot and I implemented some additional feature that where missing. All known security-issues found have been fixed.
Please notice that if you are using vBulletin 3.0.x it won't work on PHP5, while within vBulletin 3.5.x it works well with PHP4 and PHP5.

Vizionz 11-26-2005 12:29 PM

oh he gets alot of credit this is a great job he did. i just dont like the way he styled the top part of the hack its clunky and to much stuff in one place. its not organzied as well as it could of been.. still great hack well deserved props and alot of users will use his work. i just dont like the way its laid out and it would make my forum look choppy with it installed as is. when i change the template for the arcade to fit me better i might think different. but as of now i have seen both running and i prefer v3arcades style over this one..
