Sony is just evil. They treat people outside of Japan like crap when it comes to releases ect. Take the psp for example......Ughhh!

The main reason I even looked at Sony in the first place was because of their TVs. Sony made some of the best TVs ever as far as color and clarity with their single gun picture tubes.

I don't think it carried over with monitors though, although I wouldn't say they are bad. ;)

Well, they upped the brightness from 400 to 700 in the model I have so it is a lot better than most of them out there in that department. I would put this one I have up against almost any other LCD available as far as true color reproduction. But, they are more expensive than most, that is the only drawback. But worth it to me for the quality I get from it.

This LG monitor cost $350AU Australian. Damn bargain for something this quality. A lot of other LG monitors don't have a good reputation but this one is awesome.

LG is up and coming in a lot of areas. I love their cell pohones. They are the only one that comes with a Chicken ring tone. Sounds just like a chicken clucking, it is great! LOL

I paid $899 USD for my Sony monitor when I got it 3 years ago. Prices have come down a lot since then on LCDs.

Yeah, that is a lot of money, LCD monitors are pretty cheap now, can't say the same for LCD TV's though.

LCD TVs are coming down in price as well. There was a 50 inch Pioneer LCD HiDEF TV that sold for close to 10 Grand a few years ago and you can get it now for under 4 Grand. And they are getting cheaper still. As the technology is more widley known and used, it wil get even cheaper.

I am in the market for a HDTV Flat screen as the prices have come down. There was no way I would pay 10k for a tv, but I am noticing some nice 42 inch+ for around 2k. Thats not bad at all.

I wonder if that's going to matter when that 'chicken flu' starts going around :nervous:
