and where is this?

If you select 'all style options' for my skin you'll see near the bottom of the page the 'Text Editor Control Styles' section... just edit the hex in there...(background colour)

If I upload the following below and also do the same for your I bulletin, what will happen??? looks like a problem having both installed!

Upload the vbulletin_editor.css file to > forums > clientscript (backup your 'vbulletin_editor.css')

Just adds a border colour to the editor which matches the style
