Like assassingod stated above, insanctus has been banned. That would mean that he can't use the private message function anymore ;)

Any number of reasons could cause such behaviour. I do not know Insanctus nor do I speak for him, but a sudden or disruptive absense from the internet could be influenced by any number of "real life" events.

You can still try to contact him per mail.
If you did not have his email (which is problematical as you should know more about a coder than just his nickname on vb.org) you can contact one of the staff of course.
