here is the basic script.

it uses html and it's a separate script. I will see about maybe integrating it with vBulletin, But I will need to look at what files will need to be included. I'm hoping i can keep this a separate script.

I run a city community website and would love to add something like this to show the city council meetings online (once a week)

I don't know anything about media and streaming but thought maybe I could put my webcam pointing at the tv when the meeting is on and then have show on my site.

I thought this type of thing had security issuse towards your own computer or did Micr$oft release a fix that I do not know of. Time to check Micro's Forum.

i am interessted in a peer to peer streaming cam thing.
although if not possibel i also can user a "per few minutes update" option.

so? any news about the cam vs. vbb?

I've long since given up on this one but found userplane.com offers both a free and upgraded (aka paid) video chat solution that can be plugged into vB. I haven't tried it yet myself so I can't speak from experience but will be going with the paid service in a month or two however, if you search "userplane" on these forums I believe there's an integration hack for the free service. FWIW
