I made a few changes to the talkerbot.php file to make it only post so much of the time instead of 100% of the time.

I get the following error after posting a message in the forum I've got it set at:

Warning: file_get_contents(http://www.myforum.com/alice/src/tal...nput=And+again...): failed to open stream: HTTP request failed!
HTTP/1.1 404 Not Found in /home/mysite/public_html/forums/_talkerbot.php on line 59

...and I'm getting the "I'm not feeling very well at the moment, try again later." message..

Maybe I need to change the 0 to 1 or vise verse in the Bots table. But I don't know how to edit that...

In a few minutes i will be making the code im running so that you can turn the bot on and off on a per forum basis from the forum options page and set the rate of post from there as well.

Because Bot 1 would be replying to Bot 2, then Bot 2 replies to Bot 1, and the cycle starts again.

I want to update the Teachbot Hack which allows you to teach your bot...
Gotta make it so it can learn from the forum....

You can edit the template of who's online page to make it permanently be online :P
