but i only want one of them
a ban user from shoutbox, that would be helpful

I am assuming that when an invisible user posts in SB their handle doesn't appear?

To me, that's a huge bummer because the userid is not even recorded in the database. There is absolutely no trace of who posted the text.

I would love for this hack to have either:

1. Cut off the ability for the invis users to use the SB
or
2. At least log the true userid in the database.

I am leaning towards #1 as being a better and cleaner solution though.

Hrm, I (as well as the rest of my mod-team) are always invisible, yet the users can see our username's just fine in the SB.

Any idea how to make the SB unusuable to a moderated group for example?
