I just posted a new release, fixed the text before I posted it heh.

I also added the ability to specify if it refreshes the user hourly, daily or weekly. Fixed a problem with the scheduled task when run on vB3 and added the option to put it in the sidebar.

It's my first addition of a sidebar so please test it out before you put it on a production system. It worked fine on the 2 dev systems I tried it on but you never know :)

How can I get this mod to display where the X is in the attached screenshot?

Thanks for the update.

Only thing I noticed is that the template 'dbtech_spotlight_userinfo_sideblock' is uncached but fixed that myself.

Can you check the forum permissions on this one as well? I tested it and it works fine on my dev board. I created a user and new group, set the group to not be able to see my spotlight users main forum and it didn't show it in the section. Not sure why it wouldn't do it for you.

Thanks Gemma, forgot about adding that to the cache :) I uploaded 1.3.1 with that fix for those that don't know how to do it.

Yes and no. There is a template hook down there but any data you attach to that hook will just show below on the left side. I don't think I could find a way to display it on the right side without messing around with the FORUMHOME template.
