I tried it on vb4.2.2 pl1, but didn't work. I was hoping if it works.

There is a dirty way how to hide images from quote using css display to none, but again it is not a good solution anyways!!

Seems to work in 4.2.3

It didn't work with 4.2.x with php 5.6.x
