What FTP Client you using?

Normally the FTP client of you drop a folder in say that looks like this

root
----Folder1
------------Folder2

Will build it accordingly, I suggest you check your option on your client, CuteFTP, WS_FTP or even FileZilla works really well.

Core FTP is what I'm using at the moment.

The sneaky part is that if I select all files in a folder, and I do it too quickly, it includes the folder itself. So while I'm trying to get:

root
----- folder 1
----------File 1
----------File 2
----------File 3
----------File 4
----------File 5

I can accidentally get:

root
----- folder 1
----------folder 2
---------------File 1
---------------File 2
---------------File 3
---------------File 4
---------------File 5

I didn't much care for cuteftp. I may give WS or firezilla a shot.

Anyway, no big deal either way. Just a rookie mistake that I need to watch for, and I figured I'd warn other rookies of the potential pitfall there.

When installing the XML it says its for 4.0.0 not 4.0.1 (though your post says it works on 4.0.1.

I ignored the version, and install it anyway. The only thing that changed was the logo on the top of the forum, and the icons with several red X's linking to (/statusicon/USA/ and images/misc/USA/). .. All images and folder are installed just like the install.txt says. All the colors of the forum look like the normal vbulletin forum.

Minor glitch in the dark v1.5: the path to the subforum .png is incorrect.

According to what I see, the path is /images/statusicon/USA/subforum_old-48.png, when it looks like should be /images/statusicon/USA/subforum_old.png.

ETA: Same thing with subforum_new.png

Also, for no readily apparent reason, the thread_hot-30 .png does not show up on Chrome. Works fine in IE. Not sure what that's all about.

Found another: root/images/misc/USA/blog/pencil_add.png should be .gif

This is a sweet design... Great job...

Found one more glitch: icons for threads in which I have posted do not show up at all. It's an empty element in the xml.
