I think I know what the problem is. Whenever I click on ANY of the clickable links on the edit FB Connect page, I am redirected to my main website with a 404 error. My forum is located in a subdirectory. I have a feeling that something in my FB application is not right.

This looks very interesting, thank you for the work you've done.
How does this manage duplicate users?
Let's say you have unique emails turned on, does it ensure the Facebook email isn't already in the vB database?
What if the Facebook name is already in the vB database?

I enabled PHP 5 on my server and now I'm getting this error when I go to my forums home.

Just tried this on my test site, followed all the install instruction to the letter and it works a treat..........THANKS:)

Awesome hack!

I don't think I'll install though, as I'm a simple kind of a guy and dislike having to edit templates manually whenever reverting is required on vb updates. So I don't think this hack is for me... It's a pity this kind of thing can't be done without the edits. (Yes, I know it's not possible)

facebook connect will ask you a username which will immeidately check it in your database if such username exist or not.

actaully, on my install when a user from facebook joined, it asked if they where already a member, and if so, it asked to enter the username in a box.

Yes same here. This mod is awesome, but after I read the install instructions and noticed all those template edits I had to back off. :(

I already have many styles with template edits and it's a pain in the ass to manually edit them when I upgrade my forums. :(

This is a great mod but not for lazy guys like me. :( :p

i have not yet installed this but i got a question which may not sound smart

"This add-on allows your guests and existing users to login with their Facebook account through Facebook Connect."

and

"Benefits of Facebook Connect

* Users can simply login with their Facebook account without going through the registration process."

i dont really get it, does it mean guests dont have to register on my forum?
