Okay, I guess using this mod just isn't a viable option for me then.

Thanks ;)

The message does look similar though... the "UNDEFINED" is triggering something for me. Let me do some searching.

Ahha - I knew I'd seen it somewhere before: https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showpost....postcount=4241 - something about languages.

ARG4 undefined means : you haven't imported the last english language file !

Well what does ARG20 mean then? I can't seem to find it...

hambil 03-09-2009 09:48 AM

%20 is an html encoded space. So, ignore it. What you are seeing is [ARG:2 UNDEFINED], which means it can't find the phrase it is trying to use for argument 2. My guess is, there is a problem with your language(s).

Paul M 03-09-2009 10:17 AM

Argument 2 of that phrase is another phrase that is part of this product - the only possible way you could get it is if vbulletin didnt import the phrases properly, or you have somehow deleted the phrase - uninstalling and re-installing might fix that, otherwise, still no idea.

I'm also getting [ARG:4 UNDEFINED] here, using another language as default...

Dennis B 03-10-2009 12:17 AM

And here's why...

The "old" phrase used to be

You Have <strong>{1} <a href="{3}search.php?do=getnew{4}">Unread {2}</a></strong>

And the new phrase lacks the {4}.

does this mod conflict with any other mods? MGC chatbox stopped loading on my site as soon as i installed this mod....

disabled it, and now my board is back to normal.

any ideas?

Paul M 03-10-2009 06:16 PM

No idea, I know nothing about MGC Chatbox.

hambil 03-10-2009 06:26 PM

I run this and the chatbox (great chatbox), and have no problems.
