when i give the award to some users, the following error occurs:

Warning: mysql_insert_id() [function.mysql-insert-id]: A link to the server could not be established in [path]/admincp/award.php on line 581

this is in addition to the error occuring when i enable the award list to be displayed in the member list.

these two errors have been haunting me like forever.
mod developers, please do something about it:(
i have been having this error since 3.7.3 and now i am on 3.8 and still i get this error:(

i dont wanna get rid of this incredible modification:(

please help

To upgrade all you do is re-upload this new version and overwrite the old version and it should be fine, the only differenc between the versions are this one add a few features.

so upgrading from older versions is possible.

Is this modification even supported? THe developer has not been online since December so I am wondering which is the right upgrade for what I have?
