Did you set you panic button url in your UserCP? As following the instructions exactly to the letter, will show the panic button. |

the on/off options show up in the user cp but the panic button does not |

What I will need to do so, is for you to PM me your site address, temp ftp details, a temp admin user (with admin permissions - Can Administer Settings for editing options and Can Administer Plugins for editing products and plugins, Can Administer Users for editing User Profile Fields and Can Administer Styles for editing templates) without this I can not help you. I will look when I have time, I can not guarantee that I will be able to fix it, but I will definitely have a look at it. You can revoke the temp details once I am done. If you do not want me to look at your installation, then[/s] there is nothing I can do to help further. |
very nice. :)
i'd also like to say that i'm impressed at the .pdf instruction file....very thorough! thank you for the add-on. |

Mosh, out of curiousity, is there a way to make all of my members use google?
i know current members would have to enter the url into the box and google is a default for newly registering members but was wondering if google could be made as mandatory. my site uses Dismounted's vbAnonymizer because we want to prevent the referrer information from being sent so my only worry is if someone entered a certain url which we wouldn't want. cheers. :) |

You would probably have to alter Step 3, setting Field Required to Yes, Always and Field Editable by User to No You would also probably have to run some form of SQL query to set everyone's Panic Button - URL Jump to the url you want them to use. So, the only thing they would have control over is turning the panic button on and off. I have not tested this, and am not really interested in pursuing this, but that is probably the way I would do it, and so the above is just general advice. |
ok, tnx again. :)

hello Mosh.
i couldn't find the answer in the paragraph just above the installation instructions section here. Quote:
when i clicked my panic button, it indeed takes me to google but my site url still shows in the address box rather than http://www.google.com i'm using IE7 if that makes a difference. cheers. :) |
