Agreed. I want to use it for the same reason but I'm not going to sit there and enter in all but 2 form IDs. Also I'd probably forget about it and create a new forum down the road and bam, all of a sudden threads start getting closed.

I'll 'Install' when exclude is changed to include.

Working great for me (3.6.7 PL1)! Awesome mod and just what I needed.

any way i could change the code and make it to hard delete the thread. i really could use something like this for my classifieds forum.

my another suggestion would be to add this feature for each forum so that each forum can have different settings.

Could you add in settings: "include forums" field?
Because I would like to apply it only to certain forums, and now I need to exclude all other forums!

This is almost perfect (for me) Would you be able to include a move to forum option? For example auto close thread in 90 days if no posts are made and move to an "Archive" forum?

It's an easy thing to implement. I just can't do it right now. I will do it when I get the time!
