Hi Paul,
I'm planning on upgrading my forums from 3.5.3 to 3.6.0. I currently have this hack installed, is there any way I can carry over the current "who viewed" data to the new 3.6.0 system? Also, is there any way you can make the who viewed box collapsed by default? I know we can tick it to be uncollapsed or not but some of my users aren't aware of the hack and they could really care less who viewed the thread. I think it would be a lot easier for it to be always collapsed by default no matter if you uncollapsed it already or not. Thanks |
Upgrading to 3.6 will not affect the data.

Ok, what about the second question?
|
No, there is no option to do that - but if they collapse it themselves, it will stay collapsed until they change it again.

Thanks Paul, nice little mod, wonders why this isnt part of vb core. :)

nice. is there anyway to set it only to a particular forum? like the mod forum lol so i can keep track who has or has not read my posts. ;-)

Thanks Paul... great for announcement threads! |
Great hack, thanks!
One suggestion: It would be great if it also showed the number of guests that viewed the thread - the "thread views" counter is useful, but this would be more icing on the cake. |
Thanks Paul :)
