go to my site at http://www.nextgenerationgamers.co.uk/forums you will have to register (sorry) and you will see the chat box is up but has nothing in it, when you post a chat nothing shows, it shows if you go to archieves

this lad posted up stating he has fried my chat box and he has somehow

A question
you can deny access to the default channel for some user groups, but may enter other channels created for them?

Yes you can, create a new channel and add only the usergroups who can access this channel only.

All Usergroups have 'Can use chat set to ok'

Simple. ;) It's not a permission issue. $50 says this is Apache or *ix based. It's Mod_security..... Search for the fix in this thread. You have to edit a file. I'm the one that posted it last year though. So that helps. ;)
