Yes it works, i can see it and use it. I think you might have forgotten to set the permissions for administrators and/or moderators. I am an admin and i set permissions for the registered users, after that i changed the permissions for admins and mods too.

I uploaded the ds_store files too yes.

You have to import the language file too. Overwrite the one you have.

For example, i got the dutch language and i imported the English language file and overwrote the dutch one which you can choose.

Ok, then there is one more thing you could try that i can think of.

In the admincp, mgc chat evo, there is an option called 'Display and position'.

And this option in particular in that section:

Defines the location of the chatbox on the forum home

You can choose from 3 options:

- do not display
- below the forums
- above the forums

You have to set either of those and not 'do not display'.

Then you should see it on your forum's home page.

No I can see it it just doesnt work it displays just fine, got all the settings right - but when you key in a chat it doesnt display in the chat box but it will show up in the logs and the archive. Kind of getting tired of this mod and might try another one especially since there isnt any support for it.

Here's my question, I don't want Default / Main Channel, can I remove it easily? Like simply setting it to invisible?

Or, I have a subforum that shows a specific chat channel surrounding the topic of that subforum. Main Channel shows up there, any way to remove it from having priority over the forum-specific channel / hide it?
