Yeah you COULD do that, just like you COULD remove chips so the roulette table doesn't lose positioning with each other. However, that completely defeats the purpose of having a thread where the creators and qualified people can help develop their ideas further and make their product run as well as they want it to.

Hello hope everyone is doing well.
Im having a problem, i installed Casino 81a last night to my forum but as some people reported before im having the "Let 'em Ride" spelling error.... I read people saying ok i fixed it but i havent found any post saying how.
If anybody could help me please i will appreciate it.

It's an easy fix, just fix the name in the Games Settings under the Casino section in the vb admincp.

installed your great hack v0.81a. No Upgrade...

And I have several probs:
- setting default cash to 1000$ does not work. Everybody still has 250$.
- Can´t find way to add event. Perhaps I´m to stupid, but I find no way to create an Event. Can anyone help?

One more thing...
- The phrases are not completed. I translated all phrases, except some terms, and in frontend it´s still in English. Guess they´re hardcoded in php-files?

Database error in vBulletin 3.6.8:

No biggie but I thought I'd post this error. It's from .8 and I presume related to the 250 blackjack bug mentioned before. Apologies if this is old news.

BROWSE the casino_lotto_draw table, find the entry with the highest drawid, change the jackpot value to whatever you want.

The jackpot value in there is 5527 yet it is only showing 540 in the casino.

I have just upgraded to vbulletin 3.70 b2 and now I get this message :

This game is AJAX powered and requires javascript to be turned on

Completely untested with 3.7 at this point, so chances are it will need some fixing in order to work under it.

i have the same error only in texas holdem in a new installation of the casino 0.81 under vb 3.6.8 , computer with windows vista in ie 7.0... in Firefox all works perfect.

the errors appears only in texas holdem, not in the other games.

You can't, the jackpot is calculated based on the odds of winning. If you want a higher jackpot, increase the numbers or the price of the tickets.

Usually that happens when a file hasn't been uploaded properly, or one of the casino templates has been altered.

I think that database error occurs if you try and uninstall it and install it again by memory. You just had to overwrite the upgrade. Is that what you did?

If the casino cash of your members is not important, and you dont mind starting fresh, then you can try this unoffical support: Uninstall the product, then Open up phpMyAdmin (If you have it) and then delete all tables that consist of casino_ Then try and install it again.

it?s only in texas holdem, and as i said, in firefox it works fine, only in IE is the problem.... i have unsinstalled the casiono and a new install was done... the same effects....

The problems are fixed! If you follow the directions for installing it, it works great. If you don't read the directions and you try to uninstall before upgrading, you'll get the errors described above.

All the issues mentioned on this page have been discussed tirelessly- there are fixes for all of these issues in this thread, if you are up to reading back a few pages.

Understand though, this is a beta release.


BTW Andrew - Casino works great on my board with 3.7 with no template reverts or other edits. well, except for the obvious- postbit (for the cash display)

Later today, I may expirement with getting the cash to display on the new user profiles.
