There are options in the admin cp to add and change warnings.

I looked but I only see the section for warnings under the "vbulletin options" menu at the bottom. I can only change which groups can recieve/give warnings but nothing for changing warnings. I took the download file off the first page of this thread. Is that an old version or something because it seems to have not installed correctly on my forums.

I installed the latest hack however some users have thier warning level appearing and disapearing. Not all registered users can be warned. One minute I can warn someone, the nextI can't!

g-force2k2 or anyone for that matter, do you know to include the URL to the offending post within the e-mail and pm that gets sent to the user? also, is there a way where a user could click a link in their Cp or somthing to show them all their warnings?

HELP!!

Everything was fine while installing - UNTIL i tried to run the install_warning.php. It won't install the tables/queries correct.

First error I get:
Database error in vBulletin Control Panel 2.2.9:

Invalid SQL: ALTER TABLE user ADD warninglvl int(10) NOT NULL DEFAULT '0'
mysql error: Duplicate column name 'warninglvl'

mysql error number: 1060


Then if I drop the table entry - and click Refresh in the automated script - I get this error next:
Database error in vBulletin Control Panel 2.2.9:

Invalid SQL: INSERT INTO settinggroup VALUES (40, 'Warnings System', 40)
mysql error: Duplicate entry '40' for key 1

mysql error number: 1062


I don't know where to go next.

(all instructions in the installation_txt have been followed - all file edits are done. I don't understand the queries stating duplicate - as this is the first time I am installing this hack (fresh install - NOT upgrading)

Run the query [sql]DELETE FROM settinggroup WHERE settinggroupid = 40[/sql] Then run the installer again.

Will this one be ported to vb3?
