this is something you need to talk to your host about as only they can fix it

Why is it timing out? How do I explain to my server folks what I am doing and how to stop it from timing out.
What is the info from my admin panel of my site? Why does it stop after looking at only a little amount of my site?

Search Engines Pings:
Google : Successful
Bing : Successful
Yahoo : FAILED
Ask : FAILED

How to fix FAILED issue? Have any update about on this ?

You (or them) just need to set server time out. It's a setting in my.cnf, they would know. Tell them what you told here. It could need few adjustments, or you could start with longer time right away.

Go to admincp/Maintenance/View PHP Info/ scroll down to mysql and look for mysql.connect_timeout. What is your local and master directive set at?

Default showpost is disabled for sitemap. Should I leave it this way, or would it give me better seo if I turned it on, just it would take more server juice?

I'm guessing the answer is in this page.

With the completion of algorithmic transition to Bing, Yahoo! Search has merged Site Explorer into Bing Webmaster Tools. Webmasters should now be using the Bing Webmaster Tools to ensure that their websites continue to get high quality organic search traffic from Bing and Yahoo!.

vbSEO

What are the re-write rules for 4.2???

URGENT ticket submitted!

Lots of money spend on getting results in google, this is important!

Sherrie 01-21-2013 04:18 AM

I have recently upgraded my 3.8 to 4.2 suite. I had the old vbseo sitemaps 2.5 installed which I disabled before the upgrade. Can I just install this one over the top? is there any issues with 4.2?
