Same here, Moreover and Yahoo ping have been failing for about a week or so.

Moreover ping is still busted.

Isn't VBseo supporting this any longer?

iojam 07-14-2010 06:37 AM

Hello,

moreover has stopped their ping service, it will be removed in the next version of vBSEO sitemap generator.

BlackThorn 07-14-2010 06:36 PM

I get this error ;

"This is not registered a member profile. Please click here and return to homepage"

I'd guess sitemap mod do not see sitemap_index.xml.gz files

Can you add other ping services. I'm no expert but there has to more important search engines then the top 5 or 6 listed.

This mod is great. Just wanted to say thanks.
INSTALLED.

Quick question, if one has vBadvanced installed and has created pages from vBadvanced that technically are not part of the forum, will these show up in the sitemap?

If not, is there a way to add static pages created by vBadvanced or something else to the sitemap?

All of the pages I created in vBadvanced have links in my forum header to those pages, so if the sitemap scans the forum code, it will find them. But I just wanted to clarify this, thanks.

xml 07-23-2010 12:05 AM

does it work with vbulletin4?

iojam 07-24-2010 06:32 AM

appsfinder,

make sure that you updated forums URL in vB admincp options, and then regenerated sitemap.

xml,

this version is not compatible with vB4.
