Hmm Ok I figured it should have been a standard feature to edit posts so if someone acts like a J/A in the SB you could delete the one post or edit it without having to prune the whole box

that works for me.. not sure if it works in the lite version for not..

double clicking, single clicking, /prune...nothing deletes the shoutbox messages for me, and this is essential. vBshout competes with Skype in my forum application for chat duties, and Skype is free (but it's a big download and installation, registration, etc.).

So I must click uninstall. Thanks for vBshout nontheless. It's the simplest, easiest shoutbox to install that I've tried.

jks - try making sure you have the admin usergroup permissions set properly for it - If those commands arent working, that's why.

There should be a new version of the pro shoutbox out within the next 7-10 days, yes

awesome. im happy w/ the version i have... but im hoping for vbadvanced intergration. im using pro as a staff box and the flatfile as a shout box because i cant get pro working on vbadvanced. i would like to reverse that if i can get it working on cmps.

Just to let you know, it IS illegal - Using copyrighted code without the permission of the author (which you would be doing) is illegal.

Take a look at the DMCA (Digital Millenium Copyright Act) for more information.

We collate websites using this, and periodically file DMCA notifications to their webhosts, which at the very least results in removal of the mod, and often leads to the hosting being cancelled without any refunds (DMCA violations are against almost all hosts TOS)

So the people who take the risk, usually end up regretting it - They lose more money from cancelled hosting than they would from just buying the mod.

The new version, with about 3x as many features, will likely be encoded in any case =)
