I am getting that same error on vbookie integration and when I disable the vbookie, the next mod in line seems to give an error. Also my experience page is coming up with a "page not found" error.

I had upgraded to 4.1.9 and vbSEO. It was working so perfectly before! My members are not happy their points are not updating. I completely reinstalled with new upgrade here, uploaded all files again, and all the integrated plug-ins.

Any help is greatly appreciated! I do not want to do away with this mod, it is far too loved by my members and myself! So, please help me find out what is wrong.

Edit: the db errors are occuring on the recount of points, first option: Admincp>Experience>Recount>Update Experience Points which is required after you update to a new level as well as upgrade in this mod. So I am just presently stuck!

okay its working, my bad on why i thought it wasn't, after you set the date to start it wont start your members at zero points, it takes into account of profile info, friends and alot more but if i set the date back to default you can see the huge difference in points on the members

I am getting far too many db errors, and this mod has been through a bit. I used to have a partner on my forum who could never get it working. Well at the time I had no vbulletin knowledge. Now I have a little, and no partner. I got it working, but recently with the upgrade to 4.1.9 and vbSEO, there are far too many db errors. The strangest thing though is that if I do the recount after user 50 it works, before then while testing it on user 1 - 50, it stopped many times with db errors and all the same thing:

first the date on vbookie, then this Unknown column 'points_user_tso' in 'field list'

So I'd like to try and uninstall it completely and then do a fresh install but I do not completely understand the uninstall instructions. I do understand I must upload the kill file to the forum directory, but then it says to "run" it. How do I run it? I haven't attempted this as I want to insure I do it correctly.

Please someone give me these awesome kill instructions I am hearing about, so I can clear the db and reinstall this from scratch and hopefully fix all the problems I am having.

i found it a bit difficult to but the instructions are actually quite easy, biggest pain in manually removing files via ftp but hey lifes not fun without any hicups ;) only thingthey not clear on was where to put the kill_xperience.php, added a note for you in red !

you'll execute the file the same way you run a upgrade to the board by typing this into your browser

follow the instructions then unistall the product via the product manager and manually remove files via ftp( not needed IMO if you gonna put it back) just make sure you upload the latest version

Thanks so much! I was able to run that kill file. That's the part I was not understanding about putting that in my web browser. I hope not deleting the files will make a difference as I am just going to turn around and reinstall it. I'll know soon enough!

Again, thank you for you help, I really did appreciate it! It's always trying when you have several mods and they can interfere with each or conflict. But when your database somehow gets corrupted, it's often better to do a fresh install if its possible. I'll let you know if this worked to get my vbexperience running smoothly. I love the mod!


Edited: I reinstalled it. It still gives me db errors on vbookie, so I disabled that integration, and the rest ... NO DB ERRORS! I can live without the integration to vbookie, so I am happy! I hate db errors, and this way we stay error free! Thanks again!

OK, I killed and reinstalled the mod, the recount works now, but the activity is still at 0 %. Experience > Recount Activity shows no effect...

Could anyone help? :)

I am good2go, except for this same problem. My page for experience, the activity and award notifications are all bad links. Anyone know of a fix for this?

That's the error I was getting. I had to uninstall by using the vekill and it deletes those bad tables. I then reinstalled and only integration with vbookie was giving me those db errors. But that it is the way I fixed the others. As it sure did throw a lot of db errors on me too.

Right now I am still trying to find out how to get the experience page to show back up.

OH that's fine! I can live w/out 1 integration, it's not as important as the others. I just can't figure out why the experience page is coming up as not found. I am wondering if that is something in vbseo. The problem with having too many mods is it's hard to figure which one is causing somethings. I may have to get someone to take a look at my forum to fix that one.

I do appreciate your help though. I don't like seeing ANY db errors. I'd rather turn it off than have those fill up my inbox. I heard some forums don't send them to themselves, but I want to know about everyone of them, and get them fixed so my forum is optimized.

If the xperience.php is not beeing found and is 100% uploaded, than you should check your vBSEO configuration related to this.

I am having an odd problem. Some members' "Achievements" are not showing up in the postbits below their rank. It has nothing to do with their user group since many other members of the same user group display achievements there. These members have achievements which are displayed in their user profile.

Does anyone have an idea how to fix this?

great thing, loving it, but cant figure out what am i doing wrong with advanced forum points. i installed it, see it in my products and plugins, but don't see any place to set points per forums. really wanted it, was my main reason for installing the whole experience...

also, assuming you'll help me figure out what am i doing wrong - would i be able to give achievements/awards for posting in specific forums? user A has a postcount of 100 including 1 post in forum Z, user B has a postcount of 20 including 10 posts in forum Z, so i want user B to have award "top Z-poster"?

I was wondering if there is any way to cut down on this incredible plugin being the resource hog that it is. It's practically 1/3 the size of the entire vBulletin database. That itself is of concern. I don't really need all the daily feeds, etc. who did what, etc. They just need a few toplists and that's all. Those can and should be cached and can be updated daily and would be fine (e.g. "List as of xx/yy/zzzz).

But here's a larger issue. I started to log slow queries and this is what I saw - not even what I expected. The first two queries have been shown several times in the list. Perhaps we can put together a practices list for minimizing resources using this plugin? If it was already done, would someone be able to point me to it? Many thanks - here's my data:

I am trying to expand the bars to better fit my postbit width.

I can expand the bars by increasing the below width of 102.

Looks better, but the color within does not change to match the proportion. Where can I change the color inside the bars to match the new width of the bars ie: If a users activity is at 99% when I change the width, the color does not expand accordingly.

Please help with this, someone. Any assistance would be truly appreciated. Thanks!

I just installed this modification. It all seemed to be working, but now I am getting tons of errors, all like this:

Can I modify the xperience.php to stop this error? I'm not sure which is exactly line 6.

i did some testing, and the errors started when I excluded users 1, 3, and 5 from the system in the EXPERIENCE control panel applet. Once I deleted these entries, the error messages stopped.

So, it appears that the errors come from this area. No big deal. I just didn't want to hog some of the awards, because I am the top poster.

I'm having this problem too. 4.1.10.

it was working before but suddenly disappeared.

Remove the last comma , from the list of ignored users.

fixed it by clearing and resetting achievements. now its working.

Is this patched?

I believe this product is still vulnerable to SQL. I had to remove from my forum due to a Select Order at xperience.php. Latest version of this mod was installed.
