I'd like to have an extension of this mod that would affect a users profile and postbit areas.

Reason: I am disabling ads for my VIP (paid) members. I have one smartaleck who is having some fun with me - rather than supporting the site, he takes a screenshot of the ads and puts it in his sig.

So I'd like to get even by making the ads show up under his avatar and in his sig - whether he likes it or not LOL!

Is this possible?

(The reason I want it to be part of this mod is I'd like to utilize the random generation of ads and also just be able to punch in a userid so I can do it to more than one user :D)

But I have a little problem.
I am using the mod and everything seems to be fine.
I have a question about a specific part that I can't make it work correctly :-)
The problem I have is the specific part I explain below:
I configured the mod to show ads in postbit.
1 x Ad after 1st post in every thread
1 x ad after 9nth post in every thread
1 x ad in the end of every thread (of all posts)

My forum is configured to have 10 posts in every page of the threads.
I Have vbulletin 3.6.8 and vBadvanced CMPS v3.0 RC2.

I noticed that if i press the portals icon to lead me to the last post someone made
i.e. http://mysite.com/forum/showthread.p...5045#post15045
it shows me only the last ad (at the end of every thread)
If I go back and forward in the pages (1,2,3,4,5..etc) then it shows me the ads correctly...

Is there an issue (bug) relative to vbadvanced or am I doing something wrong?
(I configured the "Display advertisement every X posts"= "40" and I still have the problem)
(I used the 1|9|11|19.......|101|119.... function but still got a problem...!!!) :(

I tried it with automatic template editing -->didn't work correctly
Now I have edited the template manually and I have for sure (working) only the "Display advertisement after last post on a page".
Sometimes it shows me the after "1|9" function and sometimes not..(most of the times=not).

What I want is to make the mod work infinitely to a thread (loop) and show my google adsense (3 x ads at a page) in every page of a thread (for sure) and not only in the begining and maybe to other pages. (the last page for sure Don't have the other two ads. Only the last one.)

Having a really weird problem here. I've been using openads, thought I'd give this a shot and set it up, installed everything, no problem. I went to add advertisements and when I went to "submit" it saved, and kept saving.. and saving.. like it was timing out but never did, now when ever I try to go to my site it won't load, but if I go on my phone or someone elses computer it works fine. If I try to set up the ad plugin from another computer the same thing happens there and I can't return to the site from that computer as well, it's like its blocking the IP's almost. Any ideas what's up? :erm:

Nope, trust me RedTyger's VB Ad Management is the best there is. I suggest until he comes back that you switch back to VB Ad Management Version 3.0

lots of errors with the footerads aswell, it ads backslashes ( \ ) before all ' in the adds screwing up the code and giving errors in the browser..

I have placedsome ads on the forumbits. Only have have a strange problem or i do something wrong. I sayed that there most show a ad after forum id 2 and 7. He doing that but after forum id 7 he shows 2 times the ad.

In the screenshot has main forum forum id 2 and test forum id 7 (where you see 2 times the ad)

Is there some who can tell me what i doing wrong ? Or is it not possible what i want ?

Ad Sharing.

We want to offer our staff the ability to upload their own banners so that we don't have to.

I have created a custom profile field (#13) called Banners. I have made adsharing only for admin and our staff.

In the adsharing area I have placed a default image.
In the header/navbar; header specific, I have input this information:
<img src="#field13#" />

When I view, it throws up a broken link with no properties.

What am I doing wrong?

We want the banner to show and for it to link to a URL.

Thank you! Very good mod. It works perfectly. I haven't tested everything yet. Only these options that work fine:
- pub in header
- pub below 1st post, after last post, before last post of each page
- pub below list of forum (anywhere)
- pub in navigation bar
The only problem I had was the automatic insertions which didn't work. I had to insert the right variable in each template.

hey, i'm sorry if this question was answered within this thread already but i did try to do some searching within this massive thread and I couldn't seem to the find the answer, so i'll just ask the question myself if this script is still being supported.

I'm just wondering if it is possible to link advertisements together. For example, some advertisement campaigns today have several banners working in cooperation with each other to have a larger visual impact on the website. If you go to my website right now (www.ready-up.com), you'll see FilePlanet advertisements on the top in the header and in the right sponsors block. These two advertisements are the only advertisements running on my website using this script currently, but if i were to put more advertisements in then it would just randomly display all of the ads together and the fileplanet advertisements would most likely be separated and not appear together upon page refreshes.

is it possible to link certain ads together, so that they appear together and not separated randomly?

Can someone explain how to include ads in the navbar area for vb CMPS? Someone touched on it slightly at https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showpost....7&postcount=71 but never explained how to implement it.
