Ahhh, I thought you could not see his site. Well you need to be a member to see the raffles, then you will see the raffles link it the community dropdown, http://snogssite.com/raffles.php

Oh I see. That makes sense. I did not even think of that. I just thought it was a demo so I would not need to reg but I will reg and will check it out.

Thanks Ozzy!

That would be correct. The raffle system does not work with the mobile style.

It should not even be showing any information for the raffle in the mobile style.

I know this mod isn't supported anymore, so I'm hoping someone that has it installed can help.

I have the mod up and running and am trying to use it with vBCredits. The setup appears to be correct as it finds the right data as it'll show how many credits people have when they attempt to purchase a ticket.

However the problem is, it's not deducting the credits at all. So basically everything is free.

I've checked the vBCredits logs and there's no entry for any deductions at all. I've run the scheduled tasks, etc. Nothing at all.

So, hopefully someone out there has an idea of what might be happening.

Thanks for any help!

Ok, after this I was digging in the code and figured it out.

Incase anyone else has a similar issue:

I'm using another currency than the default currency in vBCredits.

I had to credit another event "Adjust" for the currency I use for the raffles. Once I did that, it worked perfectly.

Nobody ever said this add-on is not supported anymore.

No offense was meant. I just wanted "you" to know that I wasn't expecting support.

Well, unless something has changed in vBCredits, you should have been able to select which currency to use in the Raffle Settings.

If it's not deducting credits, then either something has changed in vBCredits or I need to look into why it's not deducting them.

EDIT: I just checked with the version I have (version 2.1.0) and credits are being deducted for raffles using a custom currency. And it is being logged in the vBCredits log.

Yes, if you're using the default currency type, there is no issue and it works exactly as you said.

However, if you switch to another currency type from the default (aka create another new currency), there are no events for it. So there is no "Adjust" event and the credits can't be adjusted until that event is created for that new currency.

This isn't a problem with your mod, or even vBCredits. But if someone does the same thing (creates a new currency), they'll need to add a new Adjust event, which is why I posted how to make it work here.
