Anyone who has this installed, try and collapse one of your cats. From what I can tell, clicking collapse blows up your sites style. Try it and see.

Most of these files for this mod are years old. It may work somewhat but is it using the latest fixes and updates in line with vb? I'm not sure.

I don't believe most all of this CSS is needed either.

Erm its not possible? If you say had 5 forums and wanted a tab for each, yes it is possible...
I run 4.1.3 without issue with this mod, do you actually have it installed or have you even tried it?
Remove the collapse links cures the problem in the interim.

As i said; I solved the collapse buttol issue, but not with this mod.
I make the modifications by hand.

Your own forum blows up when clicking collapse.

Of course I have installed it to test it, why would someone bother to comment on something they had not tested and are interested in using?

Show me on your site where you have 5 forums linked to these tabs. You have only categories linked that I can see, not specific forums.

If removing the collapse is needed then it should be mentioned in the instructions. If it's not mentioned, one might assume they should still work.

Hey..

Is there a way to make a Module tab be the default tab instead of a normal tab?

I want to create a display that will be welcoming in a module tab and I want that module tab to be the first tab that opens up when the member loads the forum page..

Is this possible?

Thanks :)

yes, click on Manage Tabs... in the Active Modules section (under the tabs), on the far right, click on Make this Default. Then that Module will be the default tab loaded.

The collapse has always been a bug in the vB4.0 version as I've never got around to fixing it. I have absolutely NO interest what so ever in vB4.x, so I won't be further developing this MOD. I have found someone willing to take it over tho, so maybe they will fix that bug.

As far as the Mod itself goes, it is designed to tab out CATEGORIES (not individual forums) & Content Modules. I created the Content Modules portion of the modification to handle things like BLOGs, CMS Content, Albums, Recent threads, Static & Dynamic Content etc... This includes creating your own Individual Forum Module (which is really just a recent threads module). If you don't know how to make your own php file to do this, you can always ask someone to make one for you. I couldn't tell you how many custom modules I've created for people that want specific dynamic content (Blogs, Project Tools, CMS, Albums etc... )

Anyway... again, it is not designed to tab out individual forums. Its built around FORUM HOME which displays CATEGORIES.

Has anyone come up with a fix for the collapsing category issue?

I love what you've done with your edits. Did you start off with this mod as a base and modify it, or did you do all changes by hand without any product importing?

I definitely want to implement this mod, but I wouldn't mind trying your edits to see which works better for me.
