Hi,

I'm wanting to add a new definition - http://au.youtube.com/ .........

What code would I need to use to add this as a new definition? I've looked at those that install with the initial file but am totally lost ....

I'm running version 2.02 ..... any advantage to upgrading to 2.5 RC1 ?? I only use it for video's on the site .....

All version of YouTube should work with preinstalled definition.

When I paste this url it does come up as a link but ... when you click on it, it tells you "This video is no longer available"

However, if you paste the url into the address bar the video runs on the YouTube site. Does this mean that the video owner doesn't allow the video to be shown off YouTube?

That's right, take a look at the Embed Code box right beside the video. It says Embedding disabled by request.

Hey Geek, thanks for your work. Two questions. I am running your other version and disabled GAL long ago because this mod interfered with it and I'd like to use both. Can the both coincide?

And..

Does this work with the social groups in 3.8?

Hey,

I installed the 2.0 version.

It is converting all of my links to what the title is, is there any way I can disable this? and just have it embed videos, but not change regular links?

Is the beta stable enough?

First of all, big thanks to the author for the mod.

I am trying to set it up so the mod displays some custom embedding code, while pulling some info from the target page and inserting it in the embedding code. For example, is it possible to have embedding code like this:
Code:
<a href="$p1">TEST</a>
and then have this mod load the target page, grab the link through regex and insert it into the code above. I feel it is possible somehow, but I cannot figure out how to do it. Anyone knows?

Do you mean, it's not converting links into videos, or do you mean you don't want the title of the video above the embedded video?

Use the Embed regexp field to pull information from the source code of the page. Do you know anything about Regular Expressions? If not, refer to the guides in post 3 of this thread: https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=175378
