Sorry -- I slept in ;). My avatar URL is set to:

Avatars are currently being served from the filesystem at ./customavatars.

Should that be changed to a hard link?

i was up at 5am for no good reason at all :(

try this functions_grps.php and let me know if it fixes your problem please.

Uploaded that one -- unfortunately it didn't work. It output a bunch of URLs at the top of the page. Check it out:
