But v3Arcade is going along well. :) If you're thinking of switching from IPB, I'd say wait until 2.0.0 since Brian has just finished working on an updated converter. The new 2.0.0 converter takes into accounts the tournaments. So far a few volunteers have stepped forward to have their IPB sites switched over to the latest beta of v3A 2.0.0 using the updated converter and the response so have been positive.

Sorry to hear that bud, I just got over being sick myself. Well, I am not looking for any conversion or anything like that just looking for a stable arcade mod. IPB has worked great before, but now I see reports of errors and certain exploits and ZeroPage hasn't responded in a while about it..so not sure what's up.

Hello -

In the ibpro mod, if a user has two games open at the same time, the score of one game is recorded for the other. Does this happen with v3 as well, or has this hole been plugged with your mod?

Thanks,
DC

Depends upon the type of game. Check over at v3Arcade.com for some different threads on it.

Before changing any of the settings, did you do this step?

I have a question. How do I change the directory where games are stored from /games to something else? I cannot have the games at /games because I have another page at /games, and when I try to simply rename the folder to something else, the arcade games stop playing. Thanks!

The /games folder is needed for compatibility for the IPB v32 games.

An updated IPB to v3A importer has been worked on and a couple of volunteers have had their sites converted from IPB to v3A 2.0.0 Beta 1 and so far the results look promising. Barring any issues encountered now and when v3A 2.0.0 goes Gold, the updated converter will be released at the same time. Do you have an account over at v3A? We are at Beta 2 of v3A 2.0.0 and the next round of volunteers I'd be looking for would be people doing self installs of 2.0.0 & the importer.
