I know you planning in using this for actual real purchases of things also, can you make it so members and purchase paid subscriptions for other members. Like buying a member a paid subscription as a gift.

Me, I am confused though...Bested is the Site Owner, I am one of his admins. He told me to get some mods...If I get a coder, and delete all the mods I put in...can they re install them?

Yes, the post / profile award system. Set the usergroup perms, and look for the coin icon on posts, or click the award link in the profiles.
