How can I remove the zoints tag manager from the left column of the admin cp?

Also how can I display the number of posts next to each user?

They're using the beta version of the tags we're testing. That's a feature of that build.

That is somewhat confusingly unclear.

Zoints Tag pages don't really show the user info anywhere other than using exactly the same template layout as your forum display pages (if you have that zoints tag option set to 'yes') - whatever shows on your forumdisplay will show on the zoints tag pages listing threads.
Mentioning the number of posts also gives the impression you have a general vbulletin layout query rather than anything to do with the Zoints Tags plug in discussed here :S
