Everything works great except that none of the trophys will display when a user posts. I've checked the code but haven't found anything wrong. Any suggestions?

Alright, I just got back from this hacks officialy forum and I tried to post my problem there but I keep getting a "you don't have premission" error when I try to post. Anyways, I've had this hack installed for a couple weeks now and its a great addition to my community, BUT ever since I installed it a handful of my users (40-50 people) have reported that they get a "no premission" error when they try to access the forum. Now they have the same premissions as the rest of the users, but for some reason they can't see the arcade.

I have no clue how to fix this cause I've looked through all the usergroups and everyone has permission to view the arcade. If someone could explain why this is happening please let me know as I would like EVERYONE to view the arcade since its a fun way to kill time.

I have tried to install the 1.01 version of this Hack. All seems ok but I dont have access to the Arcade games. When I click on ARCADE in the navbar the Board says that I dont have permission to access the page. I double check the init.php and globel.php with no result. All seems ok.

What is going wrong or where should I search for possible errors ?

BTW:
In the Usergroup everything is fine to. Admins and normal Users normally have permission. But it dont work.

Well it was working for me perfectly before, but when I changed the avatar size from 150x150 to 200x200, the arcade stopped working. It says I don't have permisions... what's wrong?

where do you find the files such as admincp/index.php???????????????

On your server. It's usually cPanel > File Manager > public_html > forums or something like that.

i can only find:
admincalendar.php
adminlog.php
adminpermissions.php
adminreputation.php

Hmm - I have approximately 45 files under the /admincp directory...

OK - wait a minute. You're looking for the index.php file in your /admincp directory, right? Thats what admincp/index.php means, not a file named "admincp/index.php" in your /admincp directory.

Then you didn't upload all of the files to your server when you instaleld vB if that's all tht's in your "/admincp" folder. You obviously don't have access to your AdminCP since it doen't exist at the moment. Check all of your files again and upload the missing ones. That is provided you're looking for the correct file. ;) If not, what he said in the post above..

found a issue. users awaiting email confirmation can play in the arcade, how can i disable this?

AdminCP > Usergroups > Usergroup Manager > Edit > Users Awaiting Email Confirmation > Arcade Permissions > Can Play Games in the Arcade? Set to 'No'.

Ah I hope this works as it's the exact problem I've got atm. I'm running the latest vbportal as well so I'm hoping its not interfereing with it...but my forums also under https :S I like to make things difficult...Doh!

argh! no joy! it just wont submit scores I'm baffled the whole thing is correct up to the score bit..the daft thing is it registers that I've played it because i become the high score holder with a zero score! seems as if non of the information gets over.

any help now would be appriciated.

It doesn't seem to work under internet explorer but when I access the site via good old mozilla firefox it works!!! so there you have it use firefox ;). no seriously though thats a start any other information would be appricaited.

I've found that there's a huge disadvantage having the add-on games located on another forum.

I signed up to the v3arcade forum over 48 hours ago to download a few games, however, I'm still waiting for the administrator to validate my account.

I don't see why the administrator has to validate the account, considering it has already been confirmed via e-mail. This issue is drawing away from the excellent hack that you've created.

It's the only way to stop certain idiots from re-registering after being banned.

I can't get the scheduled task to work on it's own. If I select "run now", it cleans up the scores. Otherwise it does nothing, but I see it running at the proper times. Any ideas?

Having a permission problem, not sure on the fix.. any help? I'm on my admin account and when I go to arcade.php I get:

Did you install it before an update? That was my problem.

Anybody else running their arcade on a vbulletin board based on https? i think that might be whats causing my problem but I can't really test it unless i shift the site completely!

It wont submit scores on ANY game but this is only under I.E , if i use firefox it works 100% o problem hence why I've clicked the install button. However I would like to resolve this issue as I have more I.E members that firefox members...

Hi.. I'm halfway through the install to the part where you have to edit templates. but when I go to my adminCP to edit templates it gives me the following:

Parse error: parse error, expecting `')'' in /home/pixelki/public_html/forum/includes/init.php on line 507

Which is where it does all the specialtemplates bit. I've checked this loads of times and there are no commas, brackets or anything missed out. I have the shop installed as well which has something that goes here too, but it worked fine until adding the first step of modifying init.php. I've also reviewed global.php and all of those file edits are done correctly. Any ideas anyone?

Sorrryyyy. I was stupid enough to upload init in the wrong place for the second time today.

I checked to make sure all hacks were installed right, and files uploaded.. There were no errors on my part.. I've been into the permissions and adjusted everything to work.. it doesn't work with my admin account or a standard user.. I'd really appreciate some help.. This is just my test board, but this is keeping me from moving everything over.

Why Is My Arcade Page Getting Cut Off?

Thate error usually means that your mySQL server's out of space.. By that, it's not necessarily the partition where the main dBase is stored, but can also be referring to the temporary folder that mySQL's using. You should contact your host.
