I don't have anything named dbtech. Any suggestions? I'm already super admin so that's not it.


edit: Looks like other people in this thread have the same problem even after making themselves super admin. Ahh noo. Is there no hope?

Strange, maybe just clear your vB cache.
Sounds like a conflict with another mod or installed incorrectly.

If you mean u dont have anything named dbtech in your ftp or plugins then you have not installed the plugin

Where are the permission tab ?
I can't find in usergroup :(

Also I can't see the buttons on any thread, Do i need a custom configuration ?

Not even on default vb theme.

You need to allow the finalise step to finish, no matter how long it takes. If you cancelled it, you need to go to the Maintenance area for this mod and click the Rebuild Button Click Cache.

Add yourself as Super Administrator, refresh the AdminCP and you will see the "DBTech - Post Thanks" Admin menu :)

Try disabling all other modifications, it sounds like you may have a mod conflict.

The other problem i have when i upgrade from 1.. version is that all thanks and likeks etc disappear.

I will try update again and i disable other mods.

Go to your admincp/dbtech Post Thanks and click repair cache and your buttons should show so can edit them.

That's my problem. I install long time ago a version of this mod 1..., so any one can click on the thanks or like button under the post, so you see the person there under the post and give him rep point.

Now i update forum to 4.2.2 and i was thinking to update the mod, this include the advanced post thanks, i came here, download the new version of this mod, install it and all post thanks and likes disappear but not the rep points. Is like this new version clear the old ones and everything starts from zero, only rep point are ok.

Did you read the read me file for 4.2.2 and follow those instructions?

You need to CHMOD some folders and edit a file...

I have recently installed this mod, before i was using Ajax Thanks mod. how i do i import old thanks with this mod? i have tried to upgrade but old thanks are not showing still

They let you expand/collapse the postbit statistics :)

I'm already set as a Super Administrator in the vb config.php file. In fact I'm the only admin on my site. Refresh does nothing, closing the browser and re-opening does nothing or does logging in using a different browser.

I'm running vBulletin 3.8.7 and I do not have a admincp menu named "DBTech - Posts Thanks".

Any suggestions?

Was just about to ask the exact same question as the poster above. Having just converted from vBSEO, I'd love to see that more compact style as an option with this mod.

please make the mode support the like system of vbseo , because coudn't remove vbseo at this stage

As this mod is much more featured than vBSEO's Like system, replicating the exact style cannot be done at this time.

Check if all templates are as they should be. If some are changed, revert them.

Try "repair cache" in the thanks admincp menu.

Does this work with ver. 4.2.1?

After install, I get the following error in the admin panel under the DBTech section for any of the settings.

The requested URL /<our site here>/thanks.php was not found on this server.

Sounds like either the file was not uploaded, or not uploaded to the correct place.

I'm sure with some template edits it could be made to look similar at the very least.

i have done it even i have reinstall it but still showing same issue :(

In the postbit where the drop down menu is located, (vb 4.2.1) where is the file located, that would allow me to edit the default title of the menu (currently Post Thanks / Like?) to "Post Like?" I found $vbphrase and was able to edit it.

Please try disabling all other modifications in case you have a conflict.
