Replace everything in your templates with what I posted above. Make sure you do the javascript file edit correctly too or it won't work.

Good looking out, I appreciate it. Its working. For some odd reason, I thought I read I needed to edit the templates within my ftp, which was giving me the problem. I realize now that it was supposed to be the templates within your admincp for 8WR Templates.

Saw that then, if that was just what it was. Anyways regardless, thanks again. Your post with the bad letter in the description lol... pointed me in the right direction and a few others that may have been having problems fixing there media templates.

If you look on the right you'll see a Recommend button. If you press recommend, it will show a screenshot of the video with the link to your page on your facebook wall. I'm trying to get that set up on my own media library. http://the8thlegion.com/media.php?

I don't like Recommend though I'll see if I can replace it with Like.

Can anyone help, I am getting this error when trying to upload some of my videos, I uploaded to YT (Syndication of this video was restricted by its owner.) Guess they are cracking down, on linking certain videos. Is there a work around or bbcode, that allows syndicated vids to upload. I tried a few of the bbcodes on here even the Auto Youtube Link-Converter Mod and it still wont play them. Guess I will give up, and just post my vids, that will post and the rest people will have to go to YT to see. My goal is to keep them on my site, once it opens.

And what mod is this your using that allows YouTube syndicated videos to play? I have looked and tried a few and cant find anything to allow this other than posting them on Facebook which plays them, no problem. Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Unable to post comments on 4.1.4 - ace mod though! Also when posting videos get a message about zero character descriptions quite often.

I cant edit my usergroup permissions. i installed 1.1 then installed 1.7

now regardless of what option i try to edit in my user group permission thet wont update. It says it updated but it does not. I thought it was just for the media mod but I cant edit profile picture settings either. someone please help.

EDIT: I have blog disabled and have the tournaments product installed

Now i have comments working fine on the videos. but now i cannot edit the media and also i cannot delete it.

Please help me out on this.

Still looking for a fix to the comment issue. I tried the ones recommended here but still cannot leave comments on the videos.

I have just added comments on http://legalhelp.org without any problems ( FF 5.0 & IE 8.0)

Check /customVID/thumbs/ permissions

Ok... so I know this mod is half past dead with it's lack of support but i was wondering if anyone's encountered this problem:

I'm on 4.1.3 and it installed fine. the thing is, its not popping up on the nav bar, i thought it was because i'm using the Tabs Add System for vBulletin 4 (sstab advanced) but i disabled it and the Media link still doesnt show up.

I dont really mind that, bc i can add it manually BUT when i go to the media page, i dont get the media menu links to administrate etc...

Anyone run into this?
