Just installed the latest version of vb (4.1.10) and the update of this mod.
Everything works fine, accept for members who use Chrome, the chatbox keeps on flashing (can't describe it propperly). Anyone experiencing the same? |

How can I change the username color for admin & moderators?

This is done site wide... Admin CP > Usergroup Manager > Usergroup > Username HTML Markup
For Admins; First box = <span style="font: 12px Tahoma; color: #FF0000; font-weight: bold;"> Second box = </span> Change the Hex color number as needed... the above example is RED. |

No one knows on my site when someone is in chat, so no one comes to chat. Is there any way that there could be a notice that someone is in chat, like a number next to "ChatBox" on the menu, or some sort of pager to alert someone you want them to join you in chat? Thank you very much! Nelson |

Hey Where is the Old Post and New Post(Yellow?) icons on the chat box. All my Icons next to the beginning of posts appear White.

How do I change the background color? The old version allowed the background to match my style and now it's white.

Be noted that enabling CB on all pages is not recommended for large boards/shared hosting.

Is it possible to change the colour of the Status text?
Not where it says status, but next to it, where it will say "Idle", "No new messages since your last visit", "Refreshing messages" etc. Mine is grey, and it's not showing up too well, at the moment - I'd prefer it to be white. |

The chat is forever logging my members out.............can this function be disabled altogether I prefer it when they are logged into the chat all the time and they prefer not to be clicking log in / log out all the time Thanks in advance |

Just went from GCBOS to this, really big difference (to the greater). Only problem I have, and I see many other also requests this, is to use it flexable as a widget. Or actually my aim is to only have the chat on one custom page in the CMS. Have also tried to add it to different stylesheets without succeeding. For example just above the footer in vbcms_page. Any directions how I can manage this. Thanks, Joel |

I need a chat for my site that works ON THE NAVBAR and OPENS A NEW PAGE, and TELLS OTHERS THAT PEOPLE ARE IN CHAT.
Will your chat do what I need? 1- put a link on the Navbar 2- open a new page rather than extending the existing page by embedding 3- let other users know that someone is in chat (or let them be paged or notified). If not, is there any chat for VB that will? Thanks, Nelson |
