Didn't realize there was a shop option built-in. Are the items sold in the shop completely customizable? Do they display in the postbit only or can that be moved to above the sig field or any other locations?

This looks like the Mother of All Mods :D But before I install, I better ask a basic question or two.

My forum currently uses post count as the way to rank members through User Title. For example, in the User Title Manager, I have

New Guy<BR><img src="forum/images/ranks/newguy.jpg">

set for a Minimum Posts of 1. When they get to 10, a new user title is assigned to them.

The user title shows up under their name, and we do have some members with Custom User Title> Yes, Admin set (html allowed)

If I install vbExperience, will I be able to keep the User Title system but have it based on the vBExperience totals?

And still keep the Custom User Titles untouched?

The promotion system you are using is standard, and the vB Experience promotion system will override it, if it is used. They don't appear to be compatible, from what I see.

But you have the option to just keep what you have and not use the vB Experience promotion system.

Ah, got you, thanks. Well, I did want to experiment with this mod. It looks really well-made and I thought it would be nice to rank our users based on more than post count--and it appears vbEx could do that.

It is easy to uninstall. It is also easy to just turn off completely without uninstall. Install it and play with it, learn by doing, is my suggestion.

Might want to look into this asap.

Hi, i think i've found a small issue with ver 385 Beta5, when trying to access Ranking the url is shown as http://www.thecodecage.com/forumz/xperience.php which doesn't take me anywhere but this http://www.thecodecage.com/forumz/xp...php?go=ranking does take me to ranking, how do i fix that?

That's odd... I have the same 385 Beta5 and don't have this issue. xperience.php takes you to xperience.php.

how do we allow access to xperience.php only to canmoderate usergroups ? i want it to be unrelated to the setting canviewmembers, i changed canviewmembers to canmoderate but i get no permission msg but i can moderate

I'd like to change the 10 Days Registered achievement to '365 Days registered'. I'm confused however that the default 'value' for 10 days is '20'. Can you explain?

I've also noted that on some of my members, an Achievement icon for '10 Days' and 'First 100 XP' is showing twice...!

Oh, and is the 'radioactivity' plugin (.xml) in the zip? I can't see it.

The value are based on POINTS, not the actual real days. So you get two points for beeing one day registered.

Ok, so if I want to make it 365 days I should multiply 365 by however many points I'm awarding for each day?

Do you know why some members are showing two achievement icons for the same thing?

When setting the parameters for Achievements, what's the difference between 'Posts' and Points for Posts'? :confused:

Clearly, something is adrift because I used the value 2000 for 'Posts' (x2 points each on my board) and a member with 800 posts got the achievement (should be 1000+ posts). I then changed the achievement to 2000 'Points for Posts' and again the same member was credited with a 1000 post achievement.

Finally - is there a way to exclude Admins from showing Achievement icons? I've excluded the Admin Group from calculations; the bars have gone but the icons still show.

Does this ever was made or just left in dust on the shelf? there is promotion system in place, but what I would like to see is that users can buy in shop access to other usergroup, like I have hidden forum open for VIPusergroup and I want to sell access there for 1 day. User buy it for points then he need to get more points to have access tomorrow and so on...

For vBulletin 4 there is already one, but for 3.8 there will be no shop.
