hi .. tnx for this great hack . but i have problem with installing .

i use vb 3.6.0
i uploaded Files in my froum directory . ( publichtml \ froum \ files )
and then when i wanted to import .xml files this error shows up :

i will appricate if help me to find a way ;)

make double sure the path is totally correst before inporting.

and the files are in exactly the place they should be

i think i have uploaded in a wrong place . i uploaded all of the files that were in Files Directory ( in zip file ) in Froum folder ... so now i have one new directory with name FILES in my main froum folder .. is it right place or i must do something else before import .Xml file ?

it's posted it the 3.6 add-ons. it should work. besides, i just installed and it works.

anyone know what's the status of v3arcade site? it's been down or they are updating things for a while...

it should be work in vb3.6 but i think i made somthing wrong ! but i dont know how and where :) i hope someone help me for that :)

Darn...my luck...I finally got around to installing this add-on....got addicted to some of the games....and trying to grab more games to install...and the v3arcade forums is down. I imagine that's where I'm suppose to download them from.

Are there any alternate sites to grab games from?

hmmmm.....ive got a problem...when some of my members are busy playing tetris or pacman for instance...and they spend ages playing...my forum seems to log them out...they..(unaware of this) then rack up huge scores and lose them because they r required to log in....can anyone hlp me to stop this problem?

I upgraded to 3.6.1 and re-ran the arcade upgrade as well.

now no games show up, and no games are being imported.

Permissions all 777 and path is correct to reflect my directory
adminpanel/games

I uploaded all swf files in root/games, but nothing gets imported

"There are no more games to import."

Why is that?

Tell them to tick the remember me box when logging in...better still, make it ticked by default like it used to be in vB 3.0. It's a small change in the navbar template, from memory. then this problem shouldn't occur.

How do i allow the option for members to chanllenge users in teh arcade? The option/link doesn't show in the postbit drop down unless i remove the <if> statement in the template.

The problem you were experiencing is the same that is coming up with us as well.

I'll follow MRK B's response on this one. I remember making this change before in v3.5.0 to default to remember me always being checked. But can't recall how I did it.....bummer.....

Guys, I have a situation, when sometimes, my v3arcade will show incorrect champion for some of the games. At the same time arcade shows correct person in the hight score listing, and incorrect person in Champion line (when you are playing the game, on the right side it shows current champion), and also shows champion cap for the incorrect person..

does soemone have similar problem? How to fix it?

I am running VB 3.5.4 and v3Arcade 1.0.6

I get this from time to time.

It has been a problem in all versions of v3Arcade for as long as I can remember.

If you're clever with databases you can mess about and update the champs table manually but generally it's more trouble than it's worth.

I don't know of a fix for it though.

Anyone on this? Is there some permission somewhere because i can't even challenge anyone? I've checked usergroup permissions and arcade settings and i can't find anything that mentions challenger permissions/settings.

sometimes it show incorrect champion.....

how long has the v3arcade site been closed?

anyhoo the question i want to ask is how difficult would it be to change the location of the arcde i.e. from arcade.php to games/index.php

would it just be the usual edit all instances of "arcade.php" in the templates and arcade.php and then add a chdir at the very top or is there more involved?
